标 题: 求助：车辆事故赔偿问题，请各位帮帮我现在该怎么办？

事情是这样的：圣诞节的时候和朋友一起去加州玩，租了一辆车，当时我租车时没有买
租车公司提供的collision，只买了liability, 但是随后在高速公路上追尾，出了事故
，还好人无大碍。经过漫长的等待以及与警方、保险公司、租车公司相互扯皮之后，现
在租车公司让我赔，所有的费用一起要7700多美元。
由于是出去玩，我没开自己的车，就是到了目的地租车。我自己的车保没有collision
这一项，所以他们也拒绝提供支付修车费用；
我以为用信用卡支付租车费用可以利用大多数信用卡公司推车的“事故无责任”保险，
结果不巧在priceline预订车用的是VISA， 而被租车公司扣除的其他费用（包括
liability insurance，机场费，加油费，异地取车费等）是划到了MasterCard上。
MasterCard认为主要的租车费用用VISA支付了，而后期费用不是租车费用拒绝赔偿；
VISA 认为在整个租车周期内（12.23-12.31)凡是跟保险公司发生的支付必须用同一张
卡，而在12.30被租车公司扣去的追加费用却划在了MasterCard上，因此拒赔。
希望各位帮帮我，通过网络，资深熟人或者美国同事，法律顾问等多方打听下这种情况
下还有可能让信用卡公司提供赔偿么，我该怎么和租车公司argue一下，看能否减免点
费用。我是一个学生来美国读书，只有微薄的一点奖学金，朋友也都是国内来访问的学
生，对这些事情没有经验。让我（们）负担这么多钱真是困难，不知道大家有没有好的
办法。

下面是事情的经过，再拿英文简要描述一下：
Hi all,
Following is the whole events about the reimbusement demand of repair damage
from Rental Car.
1. I didn't purchase the collision wavier/coverage from the Rental Company(
This is an option when you came to rent a vehicle), so I have to find other
channels to pay the damage repair fees other than the rental company;
2. I didn't have any collision coverage on my own automobile insurance which
declined to pay for the repair for the rental car;
3. I thought using the credit card could provide collision coverage as both
VISA and MasterCard company offer Collision Damage Waiver program, which is
part of benefit of the credit card. However, both VISA and MasterCard denied
my claim with their own reason.
I used VISA to reserve the rental car, this is the voucher or prepaid fees
to Priceline, which included the toal rental charges and fees. However, I
used MasterCard to pay the supplemental charges (including liability
insurance from the Rental company, refule services and airport fees, drop-
off fees etc).
4. Mastercard declared those supplemental charges were not considered as
effective rental charges and VISA insisted all transactions to Rental
company during the rental period (12.23-12.31) should be using one card. The
first transaction by VISA happend on 12.13, but the latter MasterCard
transaction to Rental company occured on 12.30. That's why VISA declined
this claim. |

2. mastercard只有以下卡类有此功能Gold, Platinum, World and World Elite
cardholders。 而且要求也是需要全部过程用mastercard支付。具体参考http://www.mastercard.us/card-benefits.html
这个情况想找到一个第三方去支付很难啊。。。 |

的优点悬。。。

the rental company, just tell them you have very little money after coving
daily expenses and would to settle this amount for .....2k or 3k maybe (up
to you)
If they agree make sure they give you a written statement that ALL your debt
is settled before sending your payment
If they don't agree then just ignore them, they will sell your debt to a
collecting agency and you can negotiate with the agency from there |

后果： 自己出血一次当学费了。没什么续集。
方案2.商量个中间价。
后果：主要要一个书面材料，证明交这么多钱从此没责任。否则后患无穷。被免除部分
可能要算收入交税。
方案3. 就是不给。
后果：7年之内没法申请信用卡，已经申请的可能被取消，也可能不会。不能贷款。出
去租车可能因为上了黑名单而租不了。7年之后从新build credit。有些公司不给
credit太差的人offer。 |

了，
