2, 然后说，since you are a distinguished professor in the field of xxx, I am

3, “If yes, I will draft the reference letter …”, 感觉也不好，应该说 “I
know you are very busy, I can draft the letter for your reference, if you
prefer.”
4, “which will contain …” 都没用。
5, “I will send you the draft, and you are welcome to write or modify …”
也不需要。等人家同意给你写了，你把draft发过去了，再说 “please feel free to
make changes, edit, etc., as you see fit.” 之类的话。
下面是我的email中的这一段，也是参照这个版上的模版写的，仅供参考。
As you are a distinguished professor in xxx, I am wondering if I could
invite you to be an independent referee to comment my contributions. It is
my great honor that some of my papers about xxx are cited in your xxx. It

而且都是按律师模板写的，大同小异。很多教授看个开头，就知道你要什么的。然后他
就做决定了，根本不会细看后面的。
这个教授其实就是不想给你写而已。
楼主可以改改email再试试，但是最好的是move on | a******t

好的时候就乐于帮助人.副教授还在拼,压力山大,所以心情不好,不想帮别人也能理解.

a little bit. Do not feel frustrated when receiving the reply like this. It
is very very reasonable to get rejected. But there will be always nice
