Publication: 12 journal,6篇一作， if 4-14；Abstract可能有10+，自己去的有两个
其它都是老板去，但是以老板参加会议的频率来看我的应该有10+。
Citation: ISI 150+, Google Scholar 180+;
Review: 8个杂志26次，if 2-5.主要集中在两个if~5的杂志之上，有一篇是领域内的no
.1 journal，这个不太担心因为以现在的审稿速度应该能很快到50。
还有一个担心是F1身份，但是我和lp都是明年五月份毕业，中间确定不会转学或回国。
看律师们的意见是F1申请绿卡没有问题，但是考古了一下版上都推荐至少申请opt后再
递140。现在我们的情况是lp的专业毕业后没绿卡很难找工作，所以想着可以的话能早
点申请争取毕业前能绿。

but background seems good, definitely worth trying. if everything is ready (
RL, PL) and want to take the risk, go ahead file it. otherwise take some
time to get RL, PL ready and get OPT then file 140/485 concurrently.

PL and RL are not ready yet, but RL should not be a problem because my boss
promised me to help on independent ones (he wants me stay to work for him).
We are planning to file it in ~Otc. Do you think F1 will intrigue RFE?

到版上有人F1期间递交140的例子，确实还是有点担心这个。

如果你继续留在你老板那,你老板又可以直接给你H1B;那没问题

发帖数: 2535 | 8 theoretically F1 status should be fine for 140 application. but it is rare
case. how io will judge it is not clear.
as mentioned by others, if visa status is not an issue (your boss will
sponsor your h1b for sure), then no problem. even if get unlucky first time,
you can try again (with more citations and stronger background).

顺便再请教几个问题：
Publication里面abstract的数量重要吗？同一篇paper的结果老板在两个会议上做了报
告的话算一个还是两个？
突击灌几篇水paper的话有帮助不？
Review是不是过了30再多也帮助不大了？
Citation这个自己实在无能为力。
