I used "Hello, or Greetings" as the Email subject title for those referees i
am not familiar with..
I used "Reference letter" for those referees i had contact before.
i persoanlly do not recommend write "Reference letter" as the email subject
to those straingers ...cause this email might have high risk of being
deleted or never being opened by the readers....
usually, it is hard to get ROL from the strangers..in my case, i emailed over 10 letters to strangers but none of them aggreed to sepend time to do such kind of "meanless,or non-beneficial " thing, they normally said like i am not familiar with you ,i cant do such recommendation...Finally, all of my 5 letters were coming from those so-called "friends" i had several contacts before..i used them for my EB-1A 140 PETITION... |

还有一个问题:推荐人的CV 是怎么要? 总觉得直接要人家的CV 是不是很不礼貌,人家
又不认识你。。。 |
s**********0 发帖数: 276 | 7 I use " Could you please be one of my referees for my green card application
?" as email title.
Normally you don't need to request CV from them. Most of them are famous
professors. If they feel your letter doesn't introduce them well, they will
attach their CV in the email and send back to you.
Sorry! I can not type Chinese in this computer. |
