接到USCIS I-130 approval notice了。
大概的步骤我知道，接下来是I-485，但是我有几个问题。
先把approval notice上的通知摘录如下：
The above petition has been approved. The petition indicates that the person
for whom you are petitioning is in the United States and will apply for
adjustment of status. The information submitted with the petition shows that
the person for whom you are petitioning is not eligible to file an
adjustment of status application at this time.
Additional information about eligibility for adjustment of status may be
obtained from the local USCIS office serving the area where the person for
whom you are petitioning lives.
Until the person for whom you are petitioning files an adjustment
application, or applies for an immigrant visa, this approved petition will
be stored in this office. If the person for whom you are petitioning becomes
eligible to adjust status based on this petition, he or she should submit
a copy of this notice with Form I-485, Application for Permanent Residence.
Form I-485 may be obtained at the local USCIS office.
我有几个问题：
1. 第一段说我不eligible to file an adjustment of status。
那我什么时候eligible呢？需要什么条件？还是等通知？
2. 第一段还说我是在美国 (the person for whom you are petitioning is in the
US).那么我在接下来的申请中，比如485的过程中能不能回国？
还是只能在美国等直到拿到绿卡？
3. 我可以找工作拿H1B签证吗？
4. 485能工作吗？

不明白为什么会不eligible to file an adjustment of status
第二段让你联系当地移民局去取得Additional information about eligibility for
adjustment of status 。
交了485不能回国，现在你最好都不要回国直到拿到travel document。最保险的是等到
拿了绿卡在回国。
递485的时候可以申请工卡，拿到工卡就可以工作了。
一般130的485都很快啊，6个月左右就拿到了。
我想问下你130交上去到approve用了多久呀？谢谢！ |
