It is agreed that the fee for petition for extraordinary ability, national
interest waiver and/or outstanding researcher/professor or any combination
thereof is $2,500.00 flat rate. The first half or $1,250.00 to be paid
prior to beginning the paperwork and the second half or $1,250.00∗ to
be paid in two months or upon filing of paperwork to the DOL/INS, which ever
is first.
This fee includes: attorney assistance in preparation of referee letters,
attorney writing of cover letter, filing of petition(s), appeals (if
necessary), motions to reopen/reconsider (if necessary), and all extensions
of EAD and AP, as necessary. (Filing fees and out of pocket costs are not
included.)
Second Part
The $2,500 fee does not include payment of the second half of the
proceedings for the application for permanent residency. With the $2,500 fee
, filing of EAD applications, filing of AP applications as part of the I-485
filing are also included.
The second part fee is an additional $1,000.00 for the principal alien, $250
.00 for each additional family member, if the spouse and child(ren) are in
the U.S. and filing with principal alien. If spouse and child(ren) are out
of the U.S., additional fees will apply or see “Client Processing of Second
Half.”
Filing I-140 and I-485 Concurrently
Filing and attorney fees for the I-485 (Second Part) are due prior to the
beginning of paperwork if the client elects to file the second part prior to
approval of the I-140. This is concurrent filing.
