绿卡 2年转10年 排得摇摇无期 最近回国都是拿延长信来回 现在换的新公司只招公民
绿卡那种 联系的HR不懂我这个情况（说帮我问问别的人） 我现在公司中国人比较多
反正可以工作的 查了半天问了点人
可以（1）拿着延长信797表 和过期的2年绿卡 护照到SSN的地方办一张没限制的SSN卡
作为入职I-9选择C类表格
（2） 预约infopass 到uscis local office 给护照盖I-551章 关键最少也得两周了约
我还有十多天就得入职了
今天跑去SSN的 地方 他们网站明明写着是可以办的 这种情况 可以工作人员很不耐烦
说不行 居然说网站上的 policy是错的 找她的supervisor 更加不耐烦 说就是不可以
他们只接受没过期的绿卡 我说这个就相当于合法绿卡呀 他们居然不承认自己policy是
对的 我也是彻底无语了
这个是ssn网站上写的
EXCEPTION: You may accept an expired I-551 in combination with a Notice of
Action (Form I-797) and an unexpired foreign passport. For instructions on
documenting the I-797 and entering an extended expiration date for the I-551
based on the I-797, see RM 10211.025C.1.d.

发帖数: 12623 | 2 关于SS卡，他们应该给你新的没限制的SS卡。你可以试试去另一个SSA办公室。
关于上新公司，你有过期绿卡和延长信就可以开始工作，不一定要没限制的SS卡或I-
551章。过期绿卡+延长信是I-9的List C document，虽然延长信过期的时候要reverify。

LPRs and conditional residents may be issued temporary I-551 documents.
These documents are acceptable for Form I-9 as follows:
The combination of an expired Permanent Resident Card and a Form I-797,
Notice of Action, that indicates the card’s validity has been extended.
This is acceptable List C evidence of employment authorization. At the end
of the extension period, you must reverify.
