The NRC rankings are finally out. They express ranking as a range. Two
of the more important measures are the summary "regression-based
quality score and the "survey-based quality score."
I personally logged more than 40 reminder e-mail messages on the *importance*
of this ranking in my inbox from the Chancellor's office on down.

strong reactions I sensed from my colleagues. Most of them are so well-
established that I originally thought they would just took this ranking as a
joke and laughed about it.
On the contrary, they were so upset that I could not even describe. I used
to think that only Chinese are obsessed with ranking. No I am baffled... | c****K

招不到学生了.
这次CS排名大跳跃的几个学校, 求其根源, 都是系里面的老中教授挑大梁, 做的出色.
