I am in the fourth year during the postdoc training. Two weeks ago, in a
symposium I had chance to present my work and to talk to the chair of
another department in the same campus. They are expanding and recruiting
basic/translational research scientist and express the interest in my
research.
From the first day of my postdoctoral training, I began to think to how to
put myself into job market and get survive in the US. I guess this time is

I may have to talk to him again, since the position is opend in the same
campus. That may be why many guys on this board think I am NOT ready yet,
unless I can get real support from him.
