regular pump. IN epanet, click the junction assumed to be booster location,
then change the source quality property. Normally, take source tpye as mass
booster. If you just want to add a pump, it's easy. |

All I want is to achieve a flow of 400gpm after the pump. From a book I
learned that setting a pump usually starts by modeling the pump as a
reservoir in a steady state simulation to figure out the pressure needed.
Then find a pump that meets that pressure and flow in more detailed design
and modeling. |

发帖数: 30 | 7 Mel, I'm not quite sure I fully understand your question. If what you want
is just to increase the flow through the pump, then assign a downstream
demand node of 400 gpm and you will see a 400 gpm increase at the pump
assuming you are pumping to a closed system with no tanks or other supply.
It might help if you can elaborate on what you are trying to get out
of this modeling exercise. System head curve? Pump selection? |
