10:57am Sen. Leahy proposes 11 amendments to be voted as one package:
1. Leahy 1 (prohibits border crossing fees at land ports of entry)
2. Grassley 2 (provides that DHS must submit several border related and
other reports to various Senate and House committees)
3. Grassley 5 (Requires yearly audits of the Trust Fund)
4. Cornyn 6 (Includes the "Human Trafficking Reporting Act of 2013”)
5. Sessions 36 (Expands DHS Ombudsman to provide assistance to those who
have been victims of crimes committed by aliens or border violence)
6. Flake 1 (Includes private land representatives on the Department of
Homeland Security Border Oversight Task Force)
7. Flake 2 (Requires the GAO to prepare an annual assessment of the status
and progress of the Southern Border Security Strategy)
8. Feinstein 6 (Requires DHS to establish standards to ensure humane
conditions for children in the CBP custody)
9. Feinstein 7 (Requires allocations to law enforcement agencies for
Operation Stonegarden be allocated through a competitive grant process.
10. Feinstein 8 (Requires CBP "to acquire and deploy watercraft to provide
support for border-related maritime anti-crime activities”)
11. Hirono 24 (Creates a new Ombudsman office in DHS)

那之后他可以把他的同性恋修正案跟其他议员的也打成一个包，你要不让过，你自己的
也过不了。

吗?然后chair说赞同声音比反对大,通过.如果有议员有异议,就可以要求roll call.那
就记录每个人的vote,然后简单多数通过.

当然，格老是提了不少就改几个字的东西，类似Typo或者他认为不够严谨的地方。

't believe it would, because it is not an intentional effort to break up
families and to deport individuals hundreds of miles away at night. Sen.
Cornyn: Why would the border patrol do that? Sen. Coons: It is an
intentional policy that would make it more risky to enter the United States.
The reality I think is there are coyotes are everywhere on the border, and
it makes migrants more likely at risk where they have no contacts/resources,
making them more vulnerable to be preyed upon by coyotes.

发帖数: 694 | 19 今天只讨论Border Secure，结果就提了20个。到了移民那边每个议题就都是大头了，
每天需要讨论的会比今天多很多吧，今天也就是个热身的感觉。
主要是我们也不知道这18个人打算以什么顺序开始讨论。
但我估计合法移民的讨论在非法移民前面，同性恋条款会在那时候提出来，非法移民最
重要是不是要放最后？
但是不知道有没有可能写了Amendment,看看形势就不提了，或者提了也不使劲推了。
