The country and political leaders are completely occupied with the fiscal
cliff and gun control issues. Under the circumstances, the hot rod of
immigration reform shows a sign of cooling down. Should this process
continue, the country may lose a momentum to hit the hot rod of immigration
reform timely. Just as seen in the fiscal cliff negotiation that reveals the
resurfacing and creeping force of ultra conservice forces within the
Republican party leading to the collapse of so called 'Plan B' yesterday,
there is also a sign that the Republicans are somewhat moving backward from
the hot issue of post-election political pressure to a position of 'don't
rush and take a relook and reassess' of their post election rush in
discussion of immigration reform. The House members already returned to
their home yesterday and the House is only in pro forma session until 12/27/
2012! Immigration reform may lose the momentum when it is brought back in
February or later. Should the Hill repeat their past cycle, some legitimate
piecemeal immigration reform legislations such as STEM and employment-based
immigration reform will remain a hostage to the hopeless political games and
turn into victims. |

发麻了。连HR3012这样小小的法案都过不了，任何移民法案都不会过。民主党现在已经
把DACA那帮小孩绑架了，反正如果下一届选举，劳模还得选民主党。否则那个总统行政
令就失效了。
