I want to find a job first and come back to school to defend. By the way, I
did not apply for EAD. I have several questions about my current situation:
Can I apply for OPT? If no , Can I apply for CPT?

But you can keep your F1 status until it expires, but can not extend it.
Once you can GC, you can register back to school if you lose your F1 first. | b******8
