notice date), not RD (Received date). So it means they are proceccing
according to Notice Date on your I-485. Many people may have July 2, 2007 as
RD, but different ND (from July to September).

date is pretty late. |

发帖数: 623 | 8 RD (or Filing Date - sometimes they use two terms interchangeably). Notice
date is totally different.
Your RD should be 7/29/07 if this is the date that they received your app -
this can be verified through infopass or USCIS help line.

发帖数: 623 | 9 You misunderstood RD. RD is called receipt date. Once your application
arrives USCIS, they will stamp it with a date, that is called Receipt Date.
The notice date, is totally different，it's the date when USCIS send you a
letter telling you that they've received your app. It's has been a rule to
use RD for USCIS once current.

发帖数: 4691 | 10 这样不是很混乱吗？差不多的RD，比如07大潮的，pd差很远很远。排期是按pd的，以周
为单位前进（1，8，15，22），那么移民局的材料总得以pd分类才合理吧，一周的放一
块儿。这个月有5个月的人current了，把这5个月的文件找出来，再按rd排一遍吗？还
是其实不用实际文件，只在电脑里看就可以了。那样的话更可以严格按照一个顺序了，
怎么能像他们现在这么乱呢。

limit一样。所以你可以看到RD的原则并不是严格照办的。

狠难保持顺序了。

发帖数: 569 | 15 patpat。我的RD是9月底的，本来7月就寄到了NSC，结果给转到CSC处理了。
估计没有比我的RD晚的了。

发帖数: 623 | 16 我老就关于RD，还是ND的问题刚才又电话问询了一下上次的官员，结果如下：
1) RD (Receipt Date) <> ND （Notice Date)
2) Why RD is selected not PD or other Ds?
The reason is so obvious - for any categories that have enough visa
availibility, USCIS processes petitions based on first come first serve. In
analogue to use PERM filing date as PD, the only criterion employed here is
the date when an application is filed, namely the date when USCIS receives
your application. ND aka Notice Date, which might be something coined by
immigration forums, is not trackable in USCIS system.

or RD) is so important in your I485 adjudication process - even more than PD.
