it's best if you have some formulas that the reviewers couldn't even
decipher
plus some nice figures and curves, then they have no excuse to reject
on this year's cvpr there's a paper about automatic reviewing CVPR
submissions
a simple classifier did a pretty good job reviewing CVPR simply by looking
the the images of the papers.

我们老板告诉我们，拒这些math来的paper最贱的方法就是，"This work is only a
toy..." 反正我们看过他们做的，清一色只会matlab。

很多areas，matlab能用好就可以做好的research了。

发帖数: 2998 | 8 所以说，我说这个是最"贱"的办法。我知道matlab能做很好的。这个只是去argu一下的
一个可选的理由。
但是，不少math，统计系做出来的东西，要归为“toy”，也没有冤枉。所谓无知者无
畏。一来就是拿整个data matrix来做分解啊，操作啊，我就特别佩服他们的胆子大，
敢想敢做。后来想想，原来是无知者无畏也。⊙﹏⊙b汗了。

研究跟做toy一点都不矛盾，新idea也不一定要做成系统

是toy，甚至连toy都不是，只能是PDF。

那里面训练集的负样本都是从cvpr的workshop里面取的
那让workshop的作者们脸往哪放啊，呵呵

。这个文章第一作者是Yao和Chan的博士后，当然要挂他们的名字了，但是他做的东西
跟计算机的没多少区别。
