Position Description
We seek a highly creative and energetic Scientist to join our R&D team. You
will work within a highly dynamic group to develop and optimize new assays
based on our RNAscope technology and work closely with our commercial team
to identify and support customer needs. You will take initiative and be
willing to learn new techniques quickly and adapt to shifting priorities.
Qualifications:
• A PhD or equivalent experience in molecular biology, biochemistry
, cell biology or related field
• Proven skills in experimental design and data analysis as well as
critical review of primary literature
• Experience in tissue/cell-based assays such as
immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization
• Experience in microscopy and imaging, molecular biology
techniques, cell culture, real-time PCR, etc.
• Prior experience in assay development is a plus
• Excellent computer skills, including working knowledge of common
biological software and databases
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive and flourish in a fast-paced growing start-up
