可能应该不算，比如对某个问题的讨论，正方，反方的信。但有些，比如，每一期
Science上都有几篇对本期内一些亮点文章的评论/意义介绍文章（通常一到两页）。再
比如，有些杂志里有letters, 就是短文章，有些杂志里有Correspondence或letters
to the editor，这些不好讲，要看具体文章，有些还是有内容的。难道这些都不算
publication？ 要知道这些都是收录在索引（比如sci)里的。
大家看法如何? |

I believe some of the publications can be much more important than research
paper.

but it is peer-reviewed, and some Correspondences are reviewed very strictly
, with 2 or more rounds of reviewing...
