发帖数: 15 | 1 We are looking for a Scientist or Senior Scientist for a leading pharma
company's R&D center in Shanghai, China.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Works within a multi-disciplinary team of scientists to ensure successful
delivery of antiviral drug discovery program from exploratory to lead
optimization stage;
2. Initiate and execute research activities related to identification and
characterization of antiviral targets;
3. Design and implement various in vitro and in vivo studies to elucidate
molecular mechanism of drug action, drug interaction, drug resistance, and
efficacy;
4. Prepare standard operational protocols, study reports and high-quality
manuscripts
5. Other related duties as required, including organizing and maintaining
virology laboratory and training junior scientists
6. Be capable of working in a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
1. Candidate should hold a Ph.D. in virology, molecular biology or a related
field and have more than two years of post-degree experience.
2. Industrial experience in antiviral drug discovery is preferred;
3. Candidate should be proficient in designing and conducting experiments
involving state of art techniques in biochemistry, molecular biology,
enzymology, pharmacology and cell-based assays; be capable of understanding
chemistry and DMPKS results and collaborating effectively across functions.
4. Expertise in one of the following areas will be a plus: Viral replication
; immunomodulation against virus; oncology; or infectious
5. Candidate should communicate and collaborate efficiently with co-workers
and train junior scientists, and be able to record and present results at
internal and international meetings in both English and Chinese.
