looks like some tumor cell transporting systems are specific to these
fluorescent dyes. PET imaging depends on tumor-specific characterirstics
such as higher metabolic rate (FDG probe), or tumor markers. This paper is
different in that the fluorescent dyes are supposed to be non-selective.
However no mechanism was studied in this paper. Can anyone think of any
mechanism?
