Post-doctoral Research position in Department of Newborn Medicine at Brigham
& Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School
The research project is devoted to applying advanced computational methods
to biomedical image analysis. In collaboration with Dr. Rami Mangoubi, C.S.
Draper Laboratory, we are performing live and fixed-cell image analysis to
study cell cycle regulation and the molecular underpinnings of genomic
stability in pluripotent stem cells. This position is ideal for someone
with a background in computer science seeking to develop expertise in
pluripotent stem cell biology and computational biology.
Requirements: The candidate must be enrolled in or have completed a PhD, MD
or equivalent doctoral degree program, and ideally should have excellent
analytical skills in statistical signal and image analysis. The position
requires a creative and self-motivated individual able to work independently
as well as to perform effectively within a team. Excellent organizational,
communication, and writing skills are essential. Because this position
requires work performed at Draper Laboratory located in Cambridge, the
candidate must meet Draper’s employment requirements including the
following: Candidate must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

; analyze and interpret data; test, improve, and help develop mathematical
signal and image analysis algorithms; further develop presentation and
