Agnosticism
form of skepticism that holds that the existence of God cannot
be logically proved or disproved. Among prominent agnostics have
been Auguste Comte, Herbert Spencer, and T. H. Huxley (who coined
the word agnostic in 1869). Immanuel Kant was an agnostic who
argued that belief in divinity can rest only on faith. Agnosticism
is not to be confused with atheism, which asserts that there is no

说说偶是怎么成为一个agnostic的。
有一次和组里的美国人聊天，说到宗教信仰，
偶试图向他解释儒家的“子不语怪力乱神”，“敬鬼神而远之”，“不知生，焉知死”
就用偶的破英文，罗罗嗦嗦了半天也不知他听懂了没有，
总之最后他说，孔子是个agnostic，偶就又学了个新词儿。
以前遇到传教的，偶总说自己是Buddhist，打那儿以后就改agnostic啦。
