他应该是有过紧日子的能力的，当初拿最佳教练就是把大甩卖之后联盟最低payroll的

Yankees and Phillies are buddy-buddy in terms of where they are. Both teams
have big contracts dragging their feet. Old rosters, mediocre farms. Windows
are closed for these two teams in the near future. It does not matter who
manages.

Yankees also have that Cano situation going on; a lot of work to do for
Cashman, and at least locking up the manager leaves one less moving part.
It's quite funny, that in 2009 Cano is hot and Yankees has the upper hand;
and everybody said that Red Sox will have a Pedroia situation down the road.
All of a sudden Red Sox has Pedroia locked up first and Cano becomes more
or less a question mark.
Red Sox does have the Ellsbury thing to worry about right now, although most
of the fans seem determined that he's a goner.

去年从水手买来的那个Pineda不知能否完全康复，两个赛季没有在大联盟投了

如果他能投，Yankee再下本把David Price拉来，加上CC和Kuroda，Rotation还是可以
的。（一个rotation里有俩Cy Young winner的情况多见不？老虎有希望达成了）

is almost 40. So do you believe Nova has the talent and

On the other hand, it doesnot make too much sense to me if they invest tons
of money on Cano and then say to him: we'll rebuild around you in the
following 2-4 years.
Maybe Cano can accept that with that one ring already in hand?

s head when he traded for Pineda.
Pineda and Nova emerged in the same year, with Nova ranked #4 and Pineda #5
in the Rookie of the year voting.
Two year without pitching in the big leagues is really tough...

get the valuable draft picks in return. Cano has been
proven unable to carry a team--Yanks got back into
the game this season only after ARod and Soriano got
on-board. More importantly, Cano has big work ethic
problem, which is a big NO NO for young teammates in
rebuild, and it's very likely he's on PED, too.
