to call ball/strike? That's just pathetic for bastball.
When you only focus on the umpire and his zone, you will miss the true fun
stuff of the game. | A**d 发帖数: 13310 | 3 do you know the homeplate umpire Tim Welke was also that 3rd base umpire
in Game4?

| m********t 发帖数: 22 | 4 So what. Like I said before, each umpire has his zone. Some of them are very
consistent, some of them are not. They are humans, sometimes they made
mistakes. Some mistakes will go against my team, as long as not too much.
Otherwise, managers like Lou and Bobby Cox will go out to argue.
I think most of the time umpire will see how the pitch are set up. When the
catch lower his mitt and the pitcher hit right in the spot, that is good
pitch. If the pitcher can consistently hit the spot, he will get | A**d 发帖数: 13310 | 5 So philles' 3 runs out of 3 came from Welke, and he also squeezed
in the 5th inning to get rid of Kazmir, that's "not too much".
Are you kidding?

Look, I saw the pitch too he called ball for Kazmir. They are strikes, and
low strikes. Do you know how close the umpire should lean to the catcher to
call a low strike? Let alone in that awful weather
Think about this way. How many pitches an umpire will call in a game? About
300~400? How many they miss in a game? One time, I watched a game from mlb.
com, he may miss about 10.
Man, actually, they did a pretty job as far as I see. | A**d 发帖数: 13310 | 7 The problem is Hamels always got favored calls by the same umpire,
at the same locations. Dude, keep pretending to be blind.

| m********t 发帖数: 22 | 8 Then you should say Carlos Ruiz did a great job. Look at him catching, every
time his pitcher hit the spot, he barely move his mitt.
I don't know why people baby cry the strike zone here. | A**d 发帖数: 13310 | 9 a creative way to give that bastard the excuse of calling 2 pitches
right in the middle "ball"! nice job!
