发帖数: 4391 | 2 It depends on the pitcher that you are gonna swing at 1st pitch or not.
If the pitcher seems aggressive, attacking the strike zone, you have
to swing at the 1st pitch, because it might be the best fastball
you are gonna see for the whole At Bat.
It is not a good idea if you are always going to let the 1st pitch go.
ARod caught the 1st pitch BP fastball and hit it out of the park.

games no matter whom he faced ( I haven't really kept track of this, but my
feeling is like 1 out of 80 at bats), but today he swung twice. anyway, like
you said, it might just be because it's Kazmir.
