a lot more than 100 pitches per game and may pitch w/ far less than 5 days
rest. look what happened now.

he could translate his success in japan to mlb w/t changing a thing. i know
dice-k is very good, but to imply that in mlb he can throw 200 pitches a
game and rest 2 days and throw another 150 is just ridiculous.

lots of pitches. But red sox won't let him. so you never know. I remember
last year he threw a 300 pitch bullpen session between his starts and scared

1 and half season, he had arm fatigue. again, he's been a great pitcher so
far, but this is not about him, i'm just saying tom verducci's words are not
so bullet proof.

发帖数: 3012 | 8 Sox, in my mind, has not fully utilize Dice-K's potential by sticking to the
pitch count theory. That's not a bad theory, but there are exceptions to
the rule, and Dice-K may be one of them.
