Maybe i was influenced too much by a book i read
this semester,The Nurture Assumption, by Judith Harris,
She critisized(??) the research methods of psychology very
seriously.
greece, maybe you know her, she used to be a graduate
student
in psych. dept. at harvard. It was at least 30 years ago,
she was kicked out of the graduate school, but received an
award
for this book she wrote in the 90's. I like the way she
wrote her
book.

The Nurture Assumption. Judith Harris
by the way, i didn't mean psychology research
methods are all non-scientific, just don't have
too much confidence about social science as a whole.
human being is too much complicated than social sciences
can explain. however, there are so many people assume
that they are able to do that by being a "social scientist"
who can publish paper on professional perodicals.
Have i gone too far?

but the problem is whether human being can be objective enough
to be the investigater.
hmm, my English is so poor. Actually same thing happened in bio
sometimes, i felt it's strange to be both the investigater and the
object that i'm going to investigate at the same time. normally
we can use animal models first. but the problem is sometimes we
have a feeling that there's something that we shouldn't discover
or don't want to know deep in o

that's the ethnic (spelling?) questions in science leh.
This is the reason why I like those guys from BNU, because
they believe in
what they are doing and will have difficulties to do
something they don't believe.
this means trustworthy to me.
I hate those persons who always know how to please others
by the results
he can make. hehe.
