q*a 发帖数: 518 | 1 My car is Ford Taurus 2004 SES. The engine light was on last week. Checked
the code is P0174 System Too Lean (Bank 2). I am not sure about what is the
problem, anyone can give some suggestion? Thanks.
Someone told it may relate to O2 sensor, but my car has 4 O2 sensor, not
sure which. While checked again, except for the P0174, another pending codes
displayed: P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected, P0316 Misfire
Detected 1st 1000 Revs. I am confused. Thank for any suggestion. Have a nice
day. | s*******t 发帖数: 2896 | 2 Check vacuume leak first.
Vacuume leak -> too lean -> misfire code & O2 code | q*a 发帖数: 518 | 3 Thanks for reply. I am not familiar with car.
My car have the following 4 items still in warranty, nothing else:
catalytic cinverter
electronic emission control unit (PCM)
onboard emission diagnostic device
NVG module (Bi-fuel/CNG)
does my car problem P0174, P0300, P0316 or vacuum leak relate to above 4
items? Thanks.
【在 s*******t 的大作中提到】 : Check vacuume leak first. : Vacuume leak -> too lean -> misfire code & O2 code
| s*******t 发帖数: 2896 | 4 P0174 seems like an onboard emission diagnostic device code. You can check
its definition in your warranty. |
