Go to the costco selected dealer to test drive the vehicle you like and ask the dealer to show you the costco prenegotiated price sheet to you. Then start your price negotiation online with other dealerships in the area at the costco price - $750. Normally, $200~300 below costco price is dealer's bottomline. You may need to deduct other additional rebate or incentive on top of this price though. If car dealer has the car you like on the lot and has a lot of inventory needs to get rid of, you may get an even sweeter deal. Now until year end is the best season for most of car buyers. After 1/1/11, you will lose this golden opportunity.

个人觉得Costco Auto Program可以帮助大家speed up买车讨价还价的过程，并且得到
一个合理的价格。
I bought a car at ~$500 below truecar great price, which includes $600
charge since dealer has to bring in the car we like from another state.
We would have got a car at $900 below truecar great price if the same car is
within our state. (another buyer sealed the purchase a few hours ahead of
us...) |

costco price加上各种incentive，凑个整数，然后加上各种document fee之类的，岂
不是差不多了？

The point is people can use Costco auto program price as a reference to
start negotiation with car dealers and have a rough idea about their
expectations, and also a guaranteed not-too-bad fallback place that you can purchase a car at a reasonale price. |
