possible referrals for an actuarial student opportunity with an
international life & health insurer based in the Southeastern US.
The successful candidate will assist the Actuary in pricing of new health
products, including individual health insurance and corporate (group)
community & experience-rated quotes, performing the analysis and making
recommendations for rate reviews, and developing monthly claim and premium
reserves. The actuary in this position will also identify risks to the
profitability of the business and make recommendations for profit
improvement. It is expected that the student actuary will make steady
