there are definite biases in textbooks, from the American point of view
mainly, such as with issues on slavery and indian removal

This is fake news.
昨天，中新社和新华社同时发文（新浪等国内媒体转载），用中英双语宣布ABC公开道歉
并且称Kid's Table将被取消
今天再到google上一搜，标题还在，但是正文已经改了，说是ABC的spokesman
私下里给中新社新华社联系，但新华社回拨了电话无人接听
虽然是 ABC 自己网站上面的，可是没有任何 ABC 的高管 take responsibility。上次
就算是给80－20的信还有高管签名呢，这个news link什么都不算的。这就是一个狡猾
的fake。
很明显ABC／Disney已经感觉到了压力，我们需要继续努力，取得他们真正的道歉。
真正的道歉我认为必须 ABC的 CEO或者President在ABC自己的公司和新闻 主页 公布亲
自签名的诚恳道歉信。

一句话：beware of auto barn, stay away from autobarn. 千万不要去autobarn,尤
其是这个在MT Prospect的autobarn.
本不想再花时间了，但应诸多同学的请求，写个简短的总结。
为什么要买Routan?
正像我跟大多数团员们交流的，我并不是必须要买这个车，主要是cover一些risk,这个
等过一两月，希望有机会被证实。 然后就是被toyota dealer激怒，本想买个sienna
LE就得了，谁知对于老客户，他们居然牛的不得了，没有一点讲价的余地，不可能低于
invoice，不买就走人。这时候又赶上Routan促销，算了下cost/performance比，比其
他车划算的太多了，于是决定弃高可靠性（其实Sienna也是美国组装的，说高可靠性有

因为工作，不能亲自上庭，我现在正在填写“Trial by Written Declaration.”有些
问题想问问大家。谢谢！
1.我那天在红灯处停下，听见手机铃声，当时手机在副驾驶放着，从iphone上看到是公
司打来的，没有接，想按掉，天气热， 觉得很吵，觉得反正还有15分钟就到目的地了
，等到了再给公司打电话；所以当时有个动作是从副驾驶把手机拿到大腿上，低头2秒
钟把声音按掉，只是声音被按掉，来电还是继续显示着；整个过程都是在红灯的时候停
下的状态；
2. 然后刚把手机放回副驾驶，这时骑着自行车的警察敲我车玻璃，说我的case是hold
cellphone violation.任凭我怎么解释，都要给我罚单，说我应该停在路边可以停车的
位置才能看手机；我当时委屈得哭得稀里哗啦的，不知道怎么办才好，硬是活生生的被
他给了罚单；
3. 比较愚蠢的是警察走了后，我就停在可以停车的路边哭了10分钟左右，然后给朋友
打电话请教怎么办，唉，都怪我，我要是不打那个电话就好了，因为我的电话记录可以
成为很好的证据，电话记录上显示我那天确实没有接电话，唯一的纪录就是我打了一个

今年四月右转被抓，原因是“NO TURN ON RED”，当时这个sign和警察确实很恶心（不
想多说了），不服决定出庭argue,拍了照,后来5月在外地实习就 file了“Trial by
Written Declaration”，挂号信寄给了法院，当时track了邮件，确实寄到了法院，之
后很长一段时间就没音讯了，当然在file之前已经pay the full bail, 而且网上系统
显示status "Closed".
估计7月中旬，当我在网上track时发现这个ticket被重新open了，还让我选择出庭的时
间，我当时迷迷糊糊地就选择了九月中，后来一直在纳闷我不是“Trail by Written
Declaration”了吗？为啥还要我出庭呢？
九月中又在外地出差，没出庭。。。今天又track了ticket,发现被“VC 40509.5 Hold
”，急忙查了查啥意思，发现我的驾照被suspend,原因是没出庭，当时吓了一身汗。。
。后来发现下面有下次出庭的date选项，赶紧选了，“VC 40509.5 Hold”消失了。又

amount of the presumptive fine. If the court accept your plea, the court
may not be impose a fine that is more than the amount of the presumptive
fine.
第二个是plea of no contest and send a letter of explanation. 这个说如果选了
