星 Cartosat-3，该卫星对地观测分辨率可达0.25米。
目前，美国数字全球公司GeoEye-1卫星拍摄的对地观测图像是商业卫星图像中分辨率最
高的。这颗美国卫星2008年9月发射，可拍摄分辨率0.41米的全色图像。另一颗
WorldView-2卫星分辨率为0.46米。然而按照美国规定，可对外发布的商业图像分辨率
要劣于0.5米。数字全球公司计划2014年发射WorldView-3卫星，其分辨率0.31米。现在

2010年7月12日，印度使用PSLV火箭成功进行一箭五星的发射，其中就包括最新的
Cartosat-2B遥感卫星。
2010年7月12日，印度使用PSLV火箭将国产的新型高分辨率遥感卫星Cartosat-2B送入太
空。Cartosat-2B是印度空间研究组织(ISRO)研制的遥感卫星，具有高达0.8米的全色分
辨率。印度空间研究组织声称Cartosat-2B卫星主要用于地理绘测等用途，但评论普遍
认为这是军民两用的遥感卫星，配合更早发射的Cartosat-2和Cartosat-2A卫星，构成
