I attended this workshop in the mid of March and feel that it is really worthy
the money.
There are three major parts in this workshop. One is general lecture
covering some general info and major Systemic Qs. Second is case review,
which is really helped a lot on understanding the cc, DDx and focused PE.
The third part is the SP encounter, in which you will get the feedback from
SP immediately after encounter.

hotel比较贵。今天给hotel打电话， 他们竟然不知道这个workshop。按理上周末 （1/
5-1/6）就在laguardia plaza hotel有workshop啊。感觉这个workshop组织工作有点乱
。

hotel,airfare等相关的花费，这个workshop是不管你花了多少，
直接给了$1000的支票，workshop在MI,我在IL,结果收到从MI
来得1042-S,上面写$1000由于tax treaty,没有withold任何
税。我的理解由于我是H1-B,所以应该交税。F-1就应该不需要了。
请问我应该如何报这$1000,是否按照taxable schalarship?
需要交MI的state tax吗？我是RA,married filed jointly.多谢。 |

今年二月份，Magnum的Facebook网页上看到发布了Alex Webb和他妻子Rebecca举办
Workshop的消息。一共七天，在纽约布鲁克林的Generation Gallery。申请的时候需要
交10张作品。若被接收，学费$1,500，其他自理。我当时抱着试试看的心情，发了申请
材料给Rebecca。一个星期以后，收到了她的回信，欢迎我加入。
Workshop安排在五月上旬。因为我住在CT， 而且家里还有些事情天天要管着，所以只
能每天开车或者乘火车去。白天上课，拍摄，晚上11点多回到家还要后期，弄的每天只
有四五个小时的睡眠。到最后就是天天在纽约的大街上梦游。现在看来，其实还是应该
在纽约住几晚较好。
班上一共有12个学生，只有三个（包括我）是从美国本土来的。其他学生是从意大利，
德国，英国，阿根廷，巴西，泰国专程赶来参加的。其中有专业新闻摄影师，也有业余
爱好者。大伙对器材的追求显然不低，而且都喜欢把家伙往地上放。在教室走动的时候
我都要加着份小心，以免踢到到地上哪位大侠的M9，把脚踢坏就不能扫街了。
