* 很多大学的网站，包括版上有些人说 OPT extension需要有paid work,其实这项制度
DHS已经更新了。但凡volunteer work, unpaid work, 都可以用来申请OPT extension
。当然你所工作的单位必须是E-verify, 而且你的专业要属于STEM。我得到了学校ISS
的确认，当然有疑虑的同学可以咨询你的学校，同时欢迎证否。

业的。
不能免俗的就开始比较公司。
一个90年代出国，现在儿子都大学毕业的中国阿姨说自己的公司“最清闲”。“每天什
么都不用做” “天天 WFH 都可以，基本回个邮件就行了。”
大部分人都十分赞同。称赞是 work-life balance 太好了！
我觉得这哪里是 balance. 这不都没有 work 了。感觉国人脑子里还是铁饭碗，没事做
，国企大锅饭的思想。
觉得work-life balance 就是每年工作的时候，大部分日子8小时完事。每年不超过10
天需要 stay late.
上班8小时，最好时间可以 flexible. 平均1-2小时开会比较轻松。1小时左右可以比较
放松的工作。剩下的时间认真工作。
下班后不觉得身心疲惫。
难道这样还不够 balance 么？
非要什么活都没有，才叫 balance? |

work的一些想法和相关的经历。
我想，一个刚毕业不久的Phd参加工作，总有一些傲气，觉得自己各方面不错，因为在
做PHD论文的时候，因为学术的独立性，要求PHD自己从头至尾完成一个项目，所以刚到
公司的人，嘴巴上说着我是good team player,但遇到别人想分享你的credit,抢你的
territory，总有一点自我保护意识。这个想法是天生的，只是有些人会非常不明知的
表达出这样情绪，有些人还没有胆量暴露出来，有些人是想等待时机。。。。反正各有
各的想法吧，但过早表露这样的想法的人，一般要遭人整的，除非你老板特喜欢你，或
者你把老板哄得只相信你。
我n年前在国内硕士毕业后找到了一份美国大药厂的工作，当时非常兴奋，但工作2年后
，觉得没啥意识，做啥都是team work, 但最后上领奖台的都是别人。我当时做的是
medical affair and regulatory affair,老板是个Medical director, 因为90年代出

上对员工区别对待。具体政策公司各有不同，一般工作年限越长，享受的work from
home越宽松。

ranking of journals reviewed and published. After I sent them in my format.
They again asked for the same information in another format.
I feel so bad why these kinds of work the lawyers can't do it.
It seems that I paied the money and do the most of the work.
Anyboady wants to share their experience with other lawyers?
