景点介绍和行程安排
五指湖地区景点较多，以安排3天的游玩时间为宜。景点之间的距离大多为30-40公里，
非常适合自己开车游览。
第一天：
Taughannock Falls和Athaca的康奈尔大学，晚上Watkins Glen State Park宿营。
1．Taughannock Fall State Park的最大卖点当然是Taughannock Falls。这个瀑布有
215英尺高，比著名的Niagara Fall还高30英尺。号称是落基山脉以东最高的瀑布；在
89#公路边上就有观景台，可以俯瞰瀑布；也可以下到离瀑布很近的地方，不过要走上
一小段 Trail。
2．康奈尔大学是常春藤的名校，号称拥有美国东部最美丽的校园。主要的参观点有
Herbert F.Johnson Museum of Art，以收藏东方艺术品见长；Cornell University

Pinot Noir 是我最喜欢喝的红酒类型，很多人简称Pino , Pinot Noir 是一
种葡萄的类型， 因为比较难种植，所以比较贵。 但酿出的酒很好喝。 我上周同崔兄
讨论过，呵呵。
最好不要买加州的很多Pinot Noir , 质量较差， 买一些法国产的，或某些
Oregon 的， 质量很好。 有时二十几刀就能买到很好的pinot noir . 前两天刚喝了
一瓶oregon 的pinot noir ,很好喝。
每天喝点red wine，对心脏很有好处。 我遇见一个心脏外科医生，他每天都喝一点
red wine. red wine 要比white wine 健康很多。

先说机场的交通。我是在罗马入境，在米兰离境的，就说说这两个机场吧！
在罗马的Fiumicino机场，有火车或者大巴抵达市区，据说火车比较快，所以我是坐火
车进城的。落地进了机场以后，就顺着火车的标识一路走，找到售票处，掏钱。我刚开
始试图在自动售票机上刷卡，结果发现它老是叫我输密码，我的信用卡没有密码，结果
就不能通过，于是老老实实找了活人售票员买票。上车前要记得打票，找到个打票机，
从左到右滑过即可。从机场到Roma Termini火车站，大概半小时车程，中途不停靠其他
站。价钱忘了，大概十几欧，不会超过20欧。那趟火车叫Leonado Express。从市区的
Termini，也有回机场的火车。

太多了。大女儿出生后，经常性会想起一些，就当做催眠曲唱给她听，那些歌词再去体
会他们的含义，又和当年不同了，这些好的歌曲和好的诗歌一样，总是在不同的时候带
来不同的体会和感动，经久不衰。最近脑海里总是回想起这首歌：Seasons in the sun
。很简单的旋律，很单纯的歌词，给人带来美好的感动，作曲的是比利时人叫Jacques
Brel，曲子原名叫“临走的人”，后来传到美国被美国诗人 Rod McKuen填了词，最早
是由加拿大歌手Terry Jacks演唱，送给他离去的好友。
看着孩子渐渐长大，开始理解友情，亲情，也许不久就会理解爱情了，会有种担心，担
心她们太小的内心还无法承受分离的伤痛，可是谁不是从伤痛中慢慢成长的呢？无论伤

发帖数: 1826 | 13 读书期间生活在一个崇尚喝酒的地方。每年还有几次wine tasting，喝过很多红酒，除
了能分别是traditional wine还是new world wine，基本喝上去都差不多，最后还是甜
甜的port wine最入口。白酒是有严格偏好的，德国产的riesling清香而干脆，酸甜适
度。平心而论，如果不是为了体现品味和格调的需要，我觉得这些酒确实有过高估价的
嫌疑。
自己花钱买的最多的是baileys，一种Irish whiskey加cream，酒精度17%，香浓顺滑，
可以直接加冰喝，也可以兑入咖啡或者用来做甜点和巧克力。据说是酒吧里第一女士专
用酒。
我喝过最好喝的酒，其实是公公自己酿的米酒。每年冬天洗净糯米，蒸熟，放入大缸，
加上酒曲，扎进缸口，盖上被子。过一段时间，可以舀出一点吃甜酒酿。但是不可贪多
，否则就没有米酒了。再过一段时间，米都变成了酒，滤掉浮米碎粒，出来的就是晶莹
的白米酒了。每次过年，大家都会喝很多，因为入口实在是好，可是这酒其实后劲很足

Many people can not drink it straight, to say the least. I am a white wine
drinker, especially Gewurtztraminer and Ehrenfelser. Usually, you can not go
too wrong with these two. My favourite red so far is Carmenere from Chile.
I do not hate Rosé either, but it can be a risky choice too. Over all, I
only like wines that are relatively simple and easy to drink. Not a big fan
of sweet wine.

在downtown稍停片刻，走走看看了一小圈，好像美国的downtown都一样。
在GOTT’S吃的午餐，他家的Burger和Sandwiches超好吃(我吃了２个～冏rz)，强烈推
荐。
CASTLE WINERY是个仿照12世纪中托斯卡纳风格的手工制作意大利风格葡萄酒的古城堡
式酒庄。品了轮酒５种(White and Rose wines; Red Wines; Reserve Wines; Sweet
Wines)，感觉好喝和印象比较深的是:IL BARONE($88)和2008 MERLOT($34).
还想喝去下一个酒庄接着品，可是天公不作美啊，下起雨来了～-_-。Sorry！，就只好
回家喽。

不同的葡萄品种，或许Carbernet Sauvignon就比Merlot的便宜，这个和年份，产地，
和牌子都有很大关系。Carbernet的价格也可以只有$10。
在bayArea就比较占便宜，常常能碰到Napa的酒跳楼。淘酒曾一度成为我的夜游爱好：
半夜12点之后，悠闲的去24open的店挑酒。结果家里一堆酒，常常成为被ld批评的话柄。
每种葡萄的味道都有不同，这个和个人爱好有关，我尝过很多，不过还是觉得
Carbernet最合口味，偶然也try Merlot。我也只喝Red wine，没什么特别原因，因为
我知道Red wine对心血管好。
喝酒的温度也有说法，普遍的说法是
Red wine, 65 degrees (F).
White & rose wine, 55 degrees (F).
Champagne & other bubbly, 45 degrees (F).
不过，我倒是喜欢酒稍微凉一些，口感好很多。
如果讲究的话，有非常多的咚咚能注意：
比如喝酒的方式，先裹着两边的舌头，让酒先充满舌头，然后放开，让就均匀的分布 |

上和很多地方的local都有店。有自己的专业评酒师Wilfred Wong，经常有sale，前几
天刚有买一送一的sale（5c）；另外一个是专营wine的：The wine club，网上有店，
local只在北加和南加有店，其wine的种类非常多，经常会有些稀罕货。 |

Carbenet Sauvignon (king of red wine, no wonder my favorite)

Chardonnay (best white wine IMO)

大概每隔一年，我和家人都会回中国过暑假。每次回国，我们都很开心。我们去不同的地方玩儿，我学了很多新东西。我们既参观了中国的著名景点，也到一些鲜为人知的小地方去旅游。所有的这些旅游经历都让我感到很快乐。
总的来说，中国人比美国人讲究正式的礼仪。具体来说，去中国的餐馆或亲戚家赴宴，比在美国要紧张多了。我，身为中国人的后裔，会比很多人更容易适应中国习俗；但作为一个外籍人，要想完全理解中国文化和礼仪几乎是不可能的。2011年我和家人回国时，我有过一次失败的敬酒经历。这次回国，我依然担心在某个正式的晚宴上，我还得向宾主们敬酒。因为我的中文口语并不能应用自如，敬酒时我总是惊惶失措，不知说什么才好。

white wine杯小一点，因为 serve 的温度比red wine低10F，
champagne 有专用杯。
红脖一般不讲究杯子用通用杯，温度还是讲究的。 |

there is fine wine /But if the wolves (or jackals) come /What greets it is
the hunting rifle." is actually a gesture of friendship and a warning.
It is so simple to see that if USA and China can be friends, then fine wine
awaits. Otherwise, armed conflict.
Since Hu and Obama is drinking wine at the time of this music, it would mean
they are friends, at least for now. |

mL bottle? And if you do want to pay 10,000 US$ for 1982 lafite (750 mL),

deal?

University Suspects Fraud by a Researcher Who Studied Red Wine
A charge of widespread scientific fraud, involving 26 articles published in
11 journals, was leveled by the University of Connecticut today against
Dipak K. Das, one of its researchers, whose work reported health benefits in
red wine.
Many of the articles reported positive effects from resveratrol, an
ingredient of red wine thought to promote longevity in laboratory animals.

Wine只代表酿制酒。
米酒，其他水果酒也叫wine.

red wine serves at 55F to 65F depends on the type. 有时用首长温热wine，让酒
香释放出来。
on the other side, white wine serves about 10 F lower than red.
所以杯子当然要不一样 |
