March 24, 2005 - Sales of new single-family homes shook off a weather-related
downturn in January as the February sales pace increased 9.4 percent to a
seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.226 million units, the U.S. Commerce
Department reported today.
“Builders expected single-family home sales to remain strong,” said David
Wilson president of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and a
custom home builder from Ketchum, Idaho. |

faucets from freezing. Here are some tips:
1. The best way is to shut off the isolation valve to the outside hose bib
and then drain the hose bib;
2. Leave the faucets inside drip a little bit;
3. Leave the heating system running;
4. For a couple of bucks, you can buy outdoor faucet covers at Home Depot to
cover outside hose bibs. Here is the link:
