with DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) in this May, from a good music
conservatory in East Coast.
He told me several factors that a violin teacher likes
1. good ears. Violin is different from piano. If a student is not very
sensitive to the pitch (音高),then he may have more challenges in
learning it.
2. younger students will be easier to master the posture, 3 to 6 years is

前几天看到有人找室内乐的伴,我也私下写了几封私信给几个CM的网友讨论了下,于是自作主张建了个googlegroup来方便联络,因为我个人觉得email比qq或者mitbbs干扰要少点。可能已有类似的组织,但是或许已经不太活跃了,或者实在是本人无知。。。 希望大家对演出Classical Music感兴趣的能够踊跃subscribe,完善通讯录,有闲暇来交流自己的演出/排练情况,找到合适的团体排练喜欢的曲目。偌大美国,有那么多运行顺畅的社区乐团,那么多的有古典音乐演出的教堂,那么多open to public的校乐团/设施,喜欢业余演奏CM的版众应该已经找到了很多乐趣;现在希望有更多背景类似、有此爱好的同胞们可以串联起来,把你业余练习、演出的乐趣分享给大家,何乐而不为!
尤其期待从小学习古典器乐,并一直保留作为兴趣的同胞能够加入。如果参加过交响乐团、排练过室内乐那最好了。水平高下其实都其次,业余练练的么。可能因为我自己练小提琴吧,梅纽因曾经说过的一段话我觉得非常有道理,对于非职业音乐家的人来说更有独特的启发。他说:

I don't play violin, just enjoy listening to it. As a kid, I practiced vocal
and electronic piano for a while. I prefer violin to piano because
violinists can integrate more emotion and body language when interpreting
the music.
Maybe whoever become my kid(s) will learn how to play violin, and surely

们只会考试,为什么不能练练口才和leadership??能力也要多元化。AA就像是一个
orchestra的最优化问题,最好的大学要做好的小提琴,bass,管乐演奏者。小提琴拉
的再好,一个orchestra最多也只要3名,但华人家长一心思只想让娃拉小提琴,娃想敲
个鼓都不让,最后还嫌哈佛歧视。人家要的是能力和potential的多元化,而不是一水
儿的violinists。说白了,还是华人家长太急功近利,不舍得也不敢让娃做一些high

价格(不包括保险的话)是$180。同样的琴在店里买是300出头。真想省钱的话,回国让
人帮挑一个吧。
当然,您要是有钱能挂个很贵的好琴在墙上让你高兴,就不用想着3百多的琴用了以后
再卖了。还不够折腾的。还有,好琴平时要好好保养,不能挂在墙上裸奔。
不少优秀的小提琴演奏家平时拉的琴都不是他/她自己的,都是某foundation
长期借给他们用的。您挂个好琴在家里让自己高兴,让那些violinist情何以堪。 |

老师对钢琴教育有热情,她很多学生都是主修钢琴专业的,要求也非常高。家长压力很大
。 有时候真是扛不住。她先生是violinist.
夫妇2人真不是为了钱。感觉她的收费很合理, 我们是最后一节课,她总是看到孩子如
果能坚持,总是超过半小时甚至一小时,都不要求加钱。
自己办了一个音乐学院。local很多老师都挂在这个学院名下 |
