dialysis or kidney transplantation in US.
You should stop blaming yourself. Like humans which I am familiar with,
there are many causes for an animal to get chronic renal failure (CRF),
including kidney infection. Judging from the age of your cat, it is unlikely
that the CRF is derived from eating pet food that was imported from China
and laced with wheat gluten. See

里面有一条是：

发帖数: 26631 | 25 保险公司很多个，不同家的政策都不一样。 我买的是petplan的， 虽然口碑不错， 但
其实限制条件也是不少的。
petplan可以让你选coinsurance percentage和deductible。 比如coinsurance是10%,
deductible是$100的话。 去看一次病， 自己需要先付100块钱， 加上余额的10%。 有
些公司是一年自己只要交一次deductible, 而petplan是以病来区分的。 如果这次去看
拉肚子， 下次是去看皮肤发炎， 就需要交两次deductible。
需要注意的是， 不管你选的多少coinsurance（比如0)， 某些情况下，这个必须是20%
， 比如：
1, 去看specialized referral veterinary， 就是说换了家医院去看专家门诊的话，
自己也要付20%的钱。
2，非必要的急诊
3, 去看after hours vet
4，去看accredited school/college of veterinary
其中， 2，3，4的情况都不包括威胁生命的状况， 也就是说，若是紧急情况威胁宠物

American College of Veterinary Nutrition和American Academy of Veterinary
Nutrition列在网站上的。我觉得至少是credible的。而raw得很多理论，都是based on
faith...用得好的上网大声说，用的不好的就不提。 他们说有个controlled study明
年会发表。我们可以等着看结果。
至少现在，我不想在我得狗身上做实验。 不过K本身也是有肠胃问题不能handle raw的。 |

Sunnyvale 的 Cameron Veterinary Hospital 几个朋友评价不错，那的男医生以前医
好过我家的 hamster，所以我家小喵去那做了绝育手术。那里的 Liu 女医生扎错到了
小喵的尿管，小喵重病了10几天吃了一堆抗生素后没用，他们还建议我把只有一岁的小
喵安乐死。
结果是去了另一家 Veterinary Medical Specialists (Campbell)。花了6，7千刀, 搞
了2个礼拜，才知道原因。那里的设备倒是非常好。救命时可以考虑。如果像我家没什
么积蓄的。。。就准备欠债，嗯。
现在我们去 Arroyo Animal Clinic。评价也不错。可是肥肥的皮肤病一直没找到原因
。怀疑他们到底是怎样。
抱歉只有负面的资料。网上有其他人对 Dr。Liu 也有意见。避开她吧。 |

首先切记，中国对动物的入境要求变化多端，比如之前网上都说一个人可以带两只宠物
，其实现在已经限制为一人一只了，我在机场就看到三个人从俄罗斯带了五只非常漂亮
的狗狗，结果其中两只必须7天内带出境，否则只能就地“处理”。所以建议走前尽早
跟有关部门联系，弄清楚规定，不要拿宠物的生命冒险。北京机场入境检疫处电话：
010-6459 6302，上班时间是上午8点到下午3点。
目前（2007年9-10月）的入境要求如下：
1）品种：猫或狗
2）数量：一人一只，入境检疫处是根据宠物健康证明上的主人姓名来认定是否一人一
只的，机票或者疫苗证明上的姓名是不算数的。
3）文件一：健康检查证明（Health Exam Certificate）。

I'm sorry your pup got attacked. It sounds like the punctures have become
abscesses. Often they cannot heal without correct treatment.
