华裔移民来美逾百年，华裔逐渐在各领域上担任领导角色。但在美国新闻界工作的华裔
仍然只是少数中的少数，特别在报纸等印刷媒体，华裔新闻工作者只占极少数的比率。
目前在「旧金山纪事报」（San Francisco Chronicle）担任专栏作家的华天凤（
Vanessa Hua），更是整个湾区唯一的主流报纸华裔专栏作家。
创立于1865年的旧金山第一大报「旧金山纪事报」，153年来曾任职记者及编辑的华裔
只有十多人。但时至今天，华裔在旧金山市的人口比率已跃升至三分之一，日落区、肖
化及访谷区等地区的华裔人口更达到一半。
就算在家裡，华天凤也是少数中的少数。华家的成员不是科学家就是工程师。华天凤的
事业发展是由「旧金山纪事报」当记者出发，服务八年后离开，转任作家。相隔近十年
后再回到纪事报担任专栏作家，并出版了两本个人著作，包括刚于今年暑假出版的小说
「星河」（A River of Stars）。

示就算習近平要求抖音交出客戶數據，抖音也會直接拒絕。
朱駿上週於曼哈頓接受《紐約時報》採訪，為抖音做出幾項澄清。他表示公司不會審查
那些冒犯中國的影片，也不與中國共享用戶數據，即便是位於總部位於北京的母公司也
一樣。他指出，抖音的用戶數據與母公司字節跳動的其他部份是分離的，抖音數據僅供
抖音用戶使用。
當被問到若習近平要求他撤下1段影片，或是交出用戶數據時，會怎麼應對，朱駿不假
思索地回說「我會拒絕他」。抖音美國總經理帕帕斯（Vanessa Pappas）也曾表示，只
要符合抖音的社區指導方針，就不會對任何政治敏感內容採取行動。
至於抖音在美遭遇的危機，美國外來投資委員會（CFIUS）日前針對抖音收購美國影音
平台Musical.ly案展開國安審查，另外也有美議員要求情報單位對抖音展開風險調查，

参议院少数党领袖对军方使用这个平台带来的隐患表达了担忧。
美国陆军部长麦卡锡（Secretary Ryan McCarthy）11月21日在美国企业研究所对记者
说，参议院民主党领袖舒默（Chuck Schumer）在11月7日给他的信函中对美国军方近年
来使用短视频平台TikTok进行新兵招募表示了担忧，他因此下令进行调查。
舒默在信函中说，“国家安全专家就TikTok搜集并处理用户数据表示担忧。这包括用户
内容和通讯、IP地址、地点有关数据、元数据和其它敏感的个人信息”。舒默尤其对中
国法律要求国内公司“对受中共控制的情报工作提供支持与合作”感到担忧。
路透社说，研究人员2018年发现，美国军方不少人使用手机应用软件分享个人信息，健

TRENTON, N.J. — Remember that gift card you got from Aunt Francine but
never spent? New Jersey would be more than happy to take it off your hands.
The state will soon begin requiring gift card sellers to obtain ZIP codes

speech therapy 专业，找外国学生做志愿者， 就是让他们的学生纠正发音， 还给我
们发练习材料。 班上的泰国人，印度人口音重多了。 我去的时候挺自以为是的，总是
第一个完成发音练习。 回头想想， 收益很大。 现在只记得几个：
1. 我发不好 /s/ 和/th/, 练习'thank'， 'sink' ;
2. 还有 walk 和 work
3. 大多中国人发不好 v, 因为汉语里没有v 开头的，比如， Vanessa, 嘴唇要用力。 |
