关心HR1044/S386的朋友们好,我们是CACAA绿卡改革志愿小组。本财年已进入最后的倒
计时,今天一片暴风雨前的沉寂。UC没有像昨天Mike Lee办公室所言如期发生,靴子还
悬在天上。但法案主推者Mike Lee不会放弃,他的金主也不可能允许他放弃。据说今天
支持者全部集中火力轰炸Perdue,他们极可能正在进行内部交易,试图说服Perdue达成
协议。
上周,IV过于高调引起了激烈反抗,其后传出Lee和Perdue达成17000个名额给Schedule
A的协议,又疑似引起部分印度裔移民强烈不满。他们这次可能学会了低调,又想偷偷

程序加速过关,但由于伊利诺伊州国会参议员德宾(Dick Durbin)在最后时刻提出异
议而失败。参院下周将开始短期休会大约两周,预计发起人将在那之后再次试图闯关。

目前美国工作和亲属绿卡都设定了国别限额,以保持多元化。每年每个国家获得绿卡人

binding on all the states within the ninth circuit? Are they saying that
Proposition 8, itself, is unconstitutional, or are they saying that all bans
on same-sex marriage are unconstitutional?

The poll found that 38 percent favor a legislative initiative to pass a

Uganda’s parliament will pass a controversial antigay bill before the end
of this year, according to the leader of the lawmaking body.
Speaker Rebecca Kadaga told the Associated Press that parliament would pass
the law, which originally included the death penalty for some homosexual

Rhode Island moved one big step closer to marriage equality today with the
House of Representatives approving the bill.
On Tuesday it had moved out of committee for the first time in all of the
previous attempts made during the last 11 years and went to the floor of the
state House, where it passed 51-19 today, led by out House speaker Gordon
Fox and the bill's author, Arthur Handy. But next up is what is still

Mexican Court Uses American Legal Precedent for Marriage Equality
