老公去年8月file的140（EB1B OR，他公司sponsor的），很快就批了，然后在10月9日
，我们的485一起file了出去；priority date和新的EAD卡很早就收到了，不过现在我
们俩还是485 pending~~ 看了身边一些例子，感觉10月9日file的，应该快到时间绿了
我刚刚收到一个offer，新公司要做H1B visa transfer，我个人比较倾向于等一等485
，但是公司觉得那个的时间不确定，希望立刻做H1B transfer，请问如果做transfer的
话，会对485的排期有什么影响吗？ 对我有影响还是会对老公也有影响呢？（EB1B是他
公司支持的）

趟，回来再从旧公司辞职。
但律师说不行，要hold h1b transfer直到旅行回来，还要再过一个pay period才能交
上去。说如果transfer过h1b，又持旧h1b入境会使h1b transfer失效，请问是这样么？

15年在公司A抽到H1，10月生效了。
16年跳槽，先接了公司B的offer，基于公司A办了H1 transfer，但没有PP。
然后等待期间（仍在公司A，没有去公司B），拿了更想去的公司C的offer，也基于公司
A办了H1 transfer PP。
公司C的H1批准后就来公司C上班了，并通知了公司B不去了。
一年多以后，目前仍在公司C上班，收到了公司D的offer。
在考虑是否要跳槽时，发现公司B并没有withdraw当时的H1，并且已经approve。
也就是现在同时有公司C和公司B两个H1的approval。
这个对再办公司D的H1 transfer是否有影响？
理论上用当前公司C的H1 approval和paycheck就可以再办公司D的H1 transfer。
但是公司B那个已批准但不曾用过的H1 approval是否也需要？

然后现在在grace period里，过了一个月了，找到工作。
打算马上签，但大公司，感觉会很慢。
听说的步骤会有background check, cla,然后才是file h1b transfer.
公司letter上说last day后4-6weeks revoke H1B,请问对H1B transfer有影响吗.
请问前辈们，
我这种情况transfer时间够吗，请问是不是transfer filed后就可以合法呆着了。
如果不够，是不是只能12/31号出境重新面签Consoler H1B了

need to do the H1B transfer. For the worse case, my company know I am leaving
so let me go on Monday, but my new H1B application is recieved & approved on
Friday. Will that be any issue because of the gap? From my understanding, it's
not a transfer anymore because first H1B is invalid.
Usually how long it will take for H1B transfer to be approved once the lawyer
mail the application?

首先是一定要make sure you pay off all your purchase balance

3. 首先的功课：google balance transfer traps。
4. 确定你可以保证：1）你的信用卡balance为0；2）以后在还清借款前不再用此卡消
费；3）到期能还清借款。
5. 如果你对这个游戏规则很熟悉，在你不在乎信用分数的前提下，你可以用低息甚至

BILL PAY是指日常的水电等账单。时间比较长要好几天。BILL PAY如果随便对一个公司
的话很可能会被退回来；BILL PAY 没有手续费；
TRANSFER叫转账，WIRE叫汇款，正规上没有WIRE TRANSFER这个组合。
前者是银行内之间操作或者金融机构内部不同银行间的直接转账，没手续费，钱立即到
位像电子邮件；
后者WIRE要填表要处理，一般是24小时到帐（取决于银行什么时候统一WIRE出去）。
WIRE 和TRANSFER的不同在于WIRE可以留言加在NOTE里，TRANSFER无法留言，如果转错
了没办法追回。所以公司之间即使是相同银行也多用WIRE。。。 |

I understand the J1 transfer is just between two institutions, by which I
mean no approval from anybody is required. So, if I do transfer, I'll get a
new DS2019, what I need to do is to apply for J1 waiver again for the new J1
. Am I right?
I prefer to transfer instead of get a H1B which may take long time. I just
want to make sure the J1 transfer in my situation won't cause any problem,
like void the No Objection Letter or something.

试过两个单位，都是大学或者研究所，我申请的位置都是senior analyst的职位，是
regular的工作，也可以理解为是“permanent”的。其中一个明确的要给offer，但是
只sponsor H1B，他们也想办理J1 transfer让我早日开展工作，可是似乎手续上行不通
。 他们的理由是：新的工作不是像postdoc，不是training的， 所以，只给办理H1。
现在他们正在想别的办法，看看能否解决。
第二家面试的时候谈的也很愉快，也很有可能给offer，不过他们也不确定，是否能直
接办理J1－tranfer。
我现在很着急：如果不能J1 transfer的话，申请waiver，加上办理H1B，至少几个月时
间，我不想等这么久。 而两家单位待遇和福利都不错，工作也很稳定。 唉，真不知道
怎么办了。
以前对j1了解不多，现在看来，早点办理waiver就好了。

2.新单位把 H1B Transfer交上去以后,只要新单位收到Reciept, 我就可以去新单位上
班了,是么? 这个H1B Transfer从递交上去到拿到Reciept,大概要多长时间呢?
3.在到新单位上班之前,旧单位还需要办什么手续么? (Termination?)这个是我最想问
的了.因为我现在的老板是极品老板, 我找下家没有告诉她.我想如果走人的话,不想把
关系搞太僵,想给她两个礼拜的时间.但是也很担心在那两个礼拜里她疯狂的虐人,让我
很痛苦.所以知道这个问题答案的请帮我搞清楚一点.这样我心里有个准备.

/10/2013, DOS approve your case (Fevorable recommendation) on 5/20/2013, it
is fine.
No need provide further documents.
If you transfer on or after DOS approve your case, you are subject to new
212(e) and cannot get 2nd waiver.
So you can transfer J-1 ASSP from now. |

目前是NIH的postdoc，DS2019还有三个月有效期。刚刚找到一个大学的postdoc职位，
可以J1 transfer过去。因为打算尽快搞定waiver然后申请EB1，所以想在transfer之前
就提出waiver申请。我想知道的是，提交waiver申请后，到了哪一步就不可以J1
transfer了？ 是大使馆发出NOL？还是NIH的DIS收到sponsor review申请？还是DOS有
的case number？还是说waiver批准之前都可以transfer？

DS2019表过期时间与合同同为17年7月31日。
老板7月初忽然告知不能再续合同。我立刻寻找下家，现在有其他学校某老板口头给了
offer，但还没有invitation letter. 因为DS2019过期在即，估计J1 transfer很难在
DS2019过期前完成。原本想在现老板这转为self-funded的volunteer继续维持J1身份，
可系里的chair说，不能在同校同系继续做self-funded的visiting scholar，因为这违
反了劳工法, 所谓“不允许你在这里work as a slave".
我的问题是：1.J1可不可以申请unpaid leave? 有没有可能可以让老板续合同，相应和
续DS2019，但我申请unpaid leave,放弃或者自付学校的医疗保险。老板只要不出钱，
应该怎么样都愿意，但这样unpaid leave期间会不会不能进行J1 transfer，或者会不

了这是他们收取的从6月8日到11日的利息。
我的问题是：如果我在due day之前，比如说6月17日，付清所有的
new balance,还会不会有finance charge出现在我下个月的帐单
上，也就是说，他们会不会收取从11日到17日的利息？也就是说，
我在17日pay全部balance和在20日pay，我下个月的帐单会有不同
吗？
只是想搞清楚他们是怎么对待transfer balance的，请大虾指教。
我以前还以为transfer的balance等同于normal purchase呢，
现在才知道它等同于cash advantage.
另一个问题是所有的credit card都这么处理transfer balance

H1b申请到生效这段时间内，可以transfer吗？
自己的情况是，有一个不想去的offer（太穷了...难以想象的低工资），但是公司积极
sponsor H1b...，老板理解我，表示要走提前一个月说就行，可以今年四月帮忙提交
H1b申请。小弟的理解，H1b生效是要在六个月以后，也就是10月1号。那四月到十月之
间，换公司的话，会面临什么情况？
另一方面，是不是要求一个公司sponsor H1b比要求它接受H1b transfer要难很多？问
题很科普，还请多包涵:)
自己的确实希望能找到更好的工作，再考虑是不是先请这个公司支持下H1b，以后再寻
transfer。这样是不是比拒掉公司，继续找来的更好？

1. 如果在extension申请递上去以后但是还没批的这段时间，我准备转到新公司B，我
能不能办H1B transfer（A到B）？是否要等到A的H1B extension批准，或是至少要等到
拿到extension的receipt number？
2. 如果可以transfer while extension is pending, 在B的transfer申请pending这段
时间，如果A撤销原来的extension申请，是否会给B的transfer申请造成影响？

因为护照明年一月过期，所以I94上也是明年1月，现在升职换了职位需要办H1B
transfer，但律师说在拿到新的护照后要嘛出国再回来这样就有一张新的I94卡和正确
的过期时间（和H1B过期时间一样，2012年）然后办H1B transfer，要么直接申请H1B
Extension能重新拿到一张新的I94表（号码还是一样，但过期时间会更正成和H1B一样
）。。。
现在突然老板让我去新加坡出差，在这种情况下我可以利用出差机会重新获取一个I94
表回来然后办H1B transfer吗？在H1B transfer没办好的时候出入境会不会有麻烦？

给file applicaiton，今天居然说把我几个文件搞丢了让补发过去，我都快气疯了。
本来觉得H1b transfer应该很快所以不急的，可现在很着急了，因为中间还有一星期，
请问有经验的我还有希望在12月1号前拿到H1b transfer的receipt吗？
这边和约到11月底，那我如果12月1号前拿不到H1b transfer的receipt是不是身份就会
失效得回国了？ |

我有一个问题，我大家帮忙看看。
我的H1第一个3年在公司A已经用完。新公司B今年3月帮我办了H1 transfer，但是新的
H1只给了1年，而不是3年。
现在有一个更好的机会，公司C想给我办H1 transfer。
我的问题是今年3月才办的H1 transfer,如果现在又申请一个新的transfer, 会不会有
麻烦。万一没有通过，会不会对现在在B公司的H1有影响？
C公司一个小规模的咨询公司。

请问各位大侠, H1b transfer 难办吗? 有很多学校和实验室都不帮新来的博后办H1b

1. H1b transfer是否比新办H1b不一样, 要简单些?
2. 办H1b transfer需要的费用是多少?
