The teardown experts at iFixit are currently in the process of taking apart
the new 13-inch MacBook Air released yesterday, and while the machine
appears to be only a minor update to the previous model, there are
undoubtedly some changes that are worth noting.
The most notable change so far is with the solid-state storage. Apple has

Following yesterday's teaser teardown of the updated MacBook Air, iFixit has
now given Apple's new Retina MacBook Pro the same treatment.
Apple of course showed off a fair bit of the machines internals during the
keynote in order to promote all of the innovations included inside, but
iFixit's teardown still provides an interesting hands-on look at the
internals.

Last week, the teardown experts at iFixit took a look at the new Retina
MacBook Pro, noting how Apple used a number of innovations first deployed in
the MacBook Air to reduce the machine's thickness but in the process
hampered users' ability to repair and upgrade components.

recently built houses but old and new houses both have their pros and cons.
Old house pros:
Established neighborhoods
Usually closer to the action
Mature landscaping
Usually more variety in terms of age/life situations
Finish is less luxurious but materials are higher quality
Homes have more character and do not all look alike
Homes often have features that are rarely seen anymore like whole-house fans

1. The pure SSD/HDD or mechanical drive part of fusion drive is moderately
easy to access. The ssd part of fusion drive is hidden deeply and very
hard to access. You can check iFixit to see the teardown.
2. The Apple factory installed SSD is using PCI-e connection, and hence
much faster than SATA III sold on the market. If you replace the HDD by
the latter, it won't be as fast as Apple SSD. Check online videos which

Apple Watch has lowest hardware cost to price: IHS
(Reuters) - Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL)'s Watch has the lowest ratio of hardware
costs to retail price across any Apple product, according to a preliminary
estimate by research firm IHS after a teardown study.
The hardware cost of an Apple Watch Sport model was about 24 percent of the
suggested retail price compared with 29-38 percent for the iPhone maker's

发帖数: 92 | 26 两个月过去了，房子坐看右看就是没有合适的。最近突然发现自己家附近的老式小区里
有一些teardown lots和小开发商（小包工头）的广告，于是开始主动联系。
终于！终于发现了一块又平又大，坐西朝东，没有高压线，没有大马路，没有小河沟的
lot，赶紧给包工头的代理打电话，得知他们打算盖的房子3000-4000 sqft，80w出头，
符合我们预算范围。欣喜过后，问题来了。。。。
网上一查，小包工头买这块地花了33w，按照网上给出的Residential Land Valuation
（RLV）的理论，和亚特兰大附近房子的造价，一个3000多sqft的房子大概成本要40w-
45w，然后还有6%的中介费们。站在包工头的角度换位一思考，这也赚不到钱啊！！？
所以我的疑惑就是：
1。Builder买lot时候是不是overpaid？（查了一下builder，超小包工队，15年底成立
，三个年轻人组成，不过这两年里在附近建了10来个不错的customized home了）
2。这个teardown lot去年12月就卖给builder了，为啥现在9个月过去了还没有动工而

Frobes说其他公司需要16个月才能出来类似产品
Iphone 4一个视频通话就做了18个月.
multitasking不伤电池,软硬件集成,估计也作了n个月.
加上其他六轴感应等其他各种feature.
别的竞争者要赶上可以说短期内基本上彻底没戏了.(其他不说,
能把视频通话和显示提高到Iphone 4,我估计最少要14个月)
乔教主在一天,除了RIM的键盘机企业用户市场,samrtphone其他人
看来只能走降价竞争低端山寨路线了.
