4。这个support，原厂件和非原厂件差别会很大吗？非原厂件会坏的更快吗？

我的理解是，给我的start up fund是不能发summer support的，但是如果是自己申的

考古了一下大部分Goog面经都是CS的，俺Stats/CS双Master，现在在一银行上班，分析
员，三年半工作经验。不想做SDE，所以投的统计类，Decision Support，分析广告什
么的。
想大概了解一下Goog统计类，特别是Decision Support电面都问什么啊？以前上学时候
对Machine Learning很感兴趣，选了一些这方面的课，看了不少书和paper，自己还发
过journal paper。不过这几天在银行光养膘儿了，都好些年没碰那些比较理论的统计
问题了，编程就更扔到九霄云外去了。估计要是interviewer对俺痛下杀手狠问很技术
的问题，大概一问一个懵。。。呵呵
有人能给点建议吗？Goog面有统计类工作经验的也会像面fresh grad那样狠问那些工作
中其实并不用的题吗？

最近刚拿到一个生物公司的technical support scientist的offer. 马上就要做决定了
。想问问版上对这个行业了解的人的看法。
先简单自我介绍，刚刚拿到生物PhD，不想做academia了，也不讨厌bench work.主要目
标是生物公司R&D。由于家庭和地域的原因，没能够投太多的简历（因为附近没有多少
生物公司），投的也都石沉大海。
由于一些偶然的因素，投了一个tech support的职位，也没想到会拿到他们的offer。
我知道那里面工作的大部分都是Master，连manager自己也是。感觉她就是做了很久，
拿了个MBA就升manager了。里面的好多人也是从同一个公司别的部门调过来的，这种内
部调动看似很普遍。
我现在的问题是，不知道这个行业除了一直做下去之外的发展前景如何？目前还有一个
短期博后的选择，不知道这两个选择那个对今后的发展（希望稳中有升）更好一点。
如果自己是做这个或者有认识朋友是做这个的，能不能给我一点建议，现在有点一头雾
