我正在自学R，根本就是狗p不通嘛。 尤其看到R里面的summary function, 更是每天
问候他们家人800遍。这个函数在R里面只给出5个固定的centile,连多少missing vaule
也捂着不让我看。 想看看一串数里面小数有多小，大数有多大？ 嗨，也是藏着掖着。
相比之下，sas proc summary就牛逼多了。 精通这么一个函数，或者叫过程步，单变
量的问题基本没什么解决不了的。 各种古怪的descriptive stat，各种data rollup ,
基本上就这么一个函数一网打尽。 这么说吧，sql能干的， summary也都能干。 用
起来心里这个叫敞亮。 |

我说得那么写。其实写出好简历的办法很多，多看别人的简历也是一种学习。
首先我的布局一共6项 personal summary, core qualifications, work experience,
skills, education, Honors and Awards.其中每项每项里第一个区分用彩色bullet,然
后每个区分里再有区分的时候用的是黑色圆点bullet---比如说我写work experience一
共两个工作，所以这个用的是彩色的，然后每个工作都干了什么用的是黑色的。

我不是什么牛人。高中的理想是做金融或者计算机，结果那年数学家大会在上海召开，数学系突然火的不知所云。就莫名选了数学做本科，06年来美国读统计phd，后来发现几乎所有导师都在做biostat，自己兴趣缺缺。于08年跟系里说暑假开始断了我的奖学金吧。男人么，咱就背水一战釜沉舟的找工作。08年大家也知道，投行PE,VC,HF之类，机会很少很少。后来纯属运气好，阴差阳错被一个保险公司好心收留，开始做了精算。
我是08年当时为了多个选择开始考了两门P和FM，2年过去了，现在也都考完了。说说看法
P：记得P是吃了顿buffet直接去考的，数学系毕业所以没什么好说的，几个兄弟一块裸考。1小出头点做完，哥们几个都是10分。经验是好好自己学门概率论，比P有价值的多。概率论其实很有意思。P是入门的入门，往深了去有些纯概率的brainteaser真的很搞很有乐趣。
FM：利息理论也是金融业的基础了。主线就是DCF。当时也是和1个哥们图书馆坐了3整天研究盗版ASM。2人都拿了8分。这哥们浙大top1，估计他发挥失常。

1. 我觉得找公司的工作应该是Resume,CV好像是找Faculty工作的.至于研究部分需要写

望你酌情参考。因为我感觉好多都是大家容易忽略的地方，我就写在版上了，希望你不

1.summary of qualifications and skills 不要放在最前面。
最前面应该放你的working experience. 同时尽量把你的skills放到你的working
expericence中。很多HM认为summary里面的东西是为了迎合job加的，不算数。
2.Education放到最后。education只能锦上添花不能雪中送炭的。你的education背景
很好，但是HR一般希望先看你的working experience。
3. Research postion那个直接删了，加到working experience里面。
4. rewards删了。没用。
5. Publication 只留跟job description有密切关联的，剩下的都删了。
6. Additinoal skill并到你的summary里面。Offce相关的就别写了。所有技术软件的

是不是把话题带回来了？一个开心的例子不行，就多几个：“我还记得，又有一次，又

为什么要跟她说这些例子呢，是为了打开她的口，让她主动地说她想说的话。只要能打
开她的口就行了，前面说的是举一些开心的例子，不一定适合她，可能她适合回忆一些
没跟你在一起的生活，你是她的女儿，你更清楚怎么做，目的就是打开她的口。鼓励她
自我表达。
表达什么呢？前面不是说了吗，她心里是有很重的思想包袱的。要放下这个包袱非常不

2. Summary of Qualification不够详细。虽说是summary，但你把那些比较模糊的用词
（比如people across different
background，到底是啥different backgroundS？世界顶级有钱人？顶级穷人？顶级美
男？顶级猪头？）换成更详细一些的词，应该更有助于employer判断你的能力。还有
Strong understanding of statistics，那你具体会什么？至少写上你会mixed model,
linear model,multilevel analysis。
3. 总之，如果你是招工的，阅读了这份简历，读完之后，你对简历主人的能力有了多
少了解？关键就是要让看你简历的人了解到尽量多的你的知识和技能。至于你的“人品
”如何，那就交给面试的时候让他们了解了。
4. 要多看招的广告，抄他们的关键词，比如database integration、data validation

看完他blog的《现在在哪里买房风险小》，我只能笑着摇摇头。在我眼里，这个列表与
其说是“风险小”列表，不如说是“房子难涨地区列表”。试论证一二：
1. 常言道“强者恒强，弱者恒弱”。NYC, SF地区房价高企不是一年两年了，支撑房价
的不是那个affordability的percentage，而是能afford的人口数和房子总数的比例。
这里看百分比是没有多大意义的。只要还有人能买得起还愿意买，即使affordability
只有15%又如何呢？

国有旧仇，也有interest conflict，就是要调查，是不是也应该有third party组织进
行？
其二，方舟子有进行这项工作所必需的知识技能么？须知调查研究也是做学问。怎么设
计，组织，抽样，都是学问。你以为方舟子的调查结果表格是有相关学问的样子吗？还
有，你前面帖子还提过“正常的话”，要有主治医师观察，这里有吗？再有，1500人的
群体选了74人，怎么选的？什么标准？有代表性吗？这诸多问题不清楚，结果的可信度
从何而来？
其三，把那个医院的人全去掉，还有十几人，包括我举出的多个名校有title的教授，
你说他们每个人都有interest conflict?
其四，治愈率是个什么意思？那是偷换概念。100%治愈，那可能吗？有明显促进作用已
经是很可观了。

马英九指出，这个法庭的存在，应该是为国际争端定纷息争、避免走上冲突甚至战争。但是，这样的仲裁结果，不但没有排难解纷，反而增加了冲突的可能。「在背後操控的势力，看似赢了面子，其实却输了裡子。」
「菲律宾对中国」南海仲裁案，常设仲裁法院今天公布结果，称中国大陆在9段线范围内主张的历史权利没有法律依据，而南沙群岛的所有海上地物，均为礁岩，包括太平岛在内。
马英九晚间在脸书发文表示，从去年12月到今年5月，包括他在内，150多名部会首长、国内外学者专家和国内外媒体，都访问太平岛，亲眼见证这个淡水充裕（南沙唯一）、农产丰富、生活机能完整的岛屿，完全符合「联合国海洋法公约」第121条关于「岛屿」必须「维持人类生存与自身经济生活」的要件。
他说，至今年4月底为止，也有430篇国际媒体完整陈述「太平岛是岛」的事实。太平岛是「岛」不是「礁」，已是国内外多数人的共识。

唐的这本书，是本名著，文字很口语化，很容易读，但观点好像很共产党的感觉，我想
在海外久了的中国人，多多少少都有点Said。真不知道晚晴的历史，共产党和国民党有
啥大的区别，很想看看台湾的晚清的教科书。
另外你的那个秦晖的30年、60年、120年，你说写个summary， 还写summary吗？文章太
长，也不好好分段，真无法忍受。 |
