in the river.

that when I backpacked in Europe with a suitcase, and on
a couple of occasions when my wheeled bags gave up a wheel
or two. :p
The movie resonated with me though. :) I paid full price to

Last time someone offered a free Swiss Gear suitcase, 'cuz one of
two back wheels was broken by airport luggage handlers. I took the
bag, and screwed in a $1.99 wheel from Walmart, and happily went
to China with it, just to have the other wheel torn to pieces by
the crackling floor in Nanjing train station. :)

I forgot last time, you got take a bus to your terminal: free transfer too,
use the same subway ticket.
I don't think you can really handle it if you travel alone with two big
suitcases.

your suitcase? reverse your suit and fold it.
Also you can buy the garment bag which is just carry on your suits. Cheap
one is around $40 at costco. Fancy one can cost a lot.

Even if they don't allow you for some reason (eg. too crowded), you bag can
be checked in during boarding. Very simple, they just put a label on it and
carry it for you. |

发帖数: 408 | 44 update--要指出美领馆手机都不许带的，不用麻烦了，昨天就知道了，而且也回答了我一上来就提出的问题。我觉得美领馆这样规定，目的性（比如反恐，反谍），可执行性，公信力（也对美国公民）都达到了。
而中领馆的规定很容易被挑战，大家有仔细读吗？还不如大方点，通通弃之。不带武器就好了。至于反谍，有薄瓜瓜这些公子哥，别说个把监听设备，就是活人我看进去也不难。卖国也不是人人都有资本卖的。
至于有的同学指出美领馆童车问题，我觉得大家可以反映一下，得益后人。应该可以和残障人士共用一个通道比较合理。当然孩子小的可以抱，抱不动的应该也会走了，不太人道但也还说得过去。car remote control很不合理，很难避免吧？应该有个小额寄存处。抱怨的同学有反映给美领馆吗？不能想像没有人反映。
英文不好和我说得问题不知道有什么关系，昨天有个闪贴，我本来正打算谢谢他/她的指正哪。 建议未名也加个spelling check? 有些用词也不是我善用的，至少标题上删了。

in，结果她们给我弄丢了。一周过去了，打了好几个电话，都说还没消息。。。当天
在三番机场给file report了。。。给了个case number。。。
里面除了衣服，gps等之外，还有些很重要的项目研究资料比如学生成绩和访谈等，这
些是不能外泄的，都在一个移动硬盘里。。。
如果最后真找补回来，航空公司会怎么政策，我有什么权利？有人有过经验吗？

I mailed >15 boxes from Ohio to Houston, weight: 20lbs ~50lbs, prices: $10~$
20+. The heavier the cheaper for price/lbs.
The unit price is $.50+/lbs ~ $.60+/lbs
Register an online account and that will save 8% or 10%. Just print labels
home. You don't have to measure the size or weight exactly. Just give a
rough estimate.
Besides, they can also ship suitcases with some surcharge.
