我们找了一个熟人介绍的律师，但是这个律师不做litigtion，所以把我们推荐给了他
们律师所的另外一个律师。 按照我们这个州的法律，房东应该在一个月内退deposit，
并出具清洁费用。我们当时提出房东没有在一个月内退deposit的事情。那个律师说房
东play the right card，因为他们在一个月就要到的时候退给我们deposit 了。所以
他们后面再告我们damage是不受这个条款的约束的。看来这个房东早就想好要欺诈了。
但我想办法跟以前的房东要到了他打扫卫生的详细收据。收据上写的明明白白打扫卫生
的时间是在我们lease到期之前。 然后我的律师就以这一条为主，拟了一个十几款的说
明，列举了房东都在那些地方违反了法律，或者给我们带来了不便。然后以这个作为
counter sue的理由。其中有些条款是我们之前都不知道的，比如我们的deposit要存在
escrow account里面，要charge利息之类的。所以，要打官司还是找个专业的律师去
represent自己。

increase a lot ) is on the borderline they may or may not sue you, if they
sue you you probably will lose and will be forced to pay by the court. And
you also have to figure out what is the statue limitation in your state for
such debt, if passed certain years the bank has no right to sue you anymore.
But the record stay on your credit report for 7.5 years starting from the
date of the first late payment.

collection agency = the one you owed money to, their phone number and
contact address is on your credit report.
BTW, not every debt will disappear after 7 years. If they don't sue you,
most small debt will go away after 7 years. But if they sue you, it will
stay on your record forever until it is resolved. They don't usually sue
when it is small amount, 5000 is a dangerous zone some collection agency

这几天看了一帮子包括UM-CSSA在内的人们互相吐口水泼mess后，我老来科普一下这次
车祸后正常的诉赔程序，这个程序过程一般会有1-2年，但如果双方争议很大，甚至可
能会在3年以上。
不管是不是车的问题,或路的问题, （1）基本都是passengers sue driver/owner,然后
driver/owner的保险公司赔付.(2)如果能查出是车的设计有问题,或轮胎质量有问题,或
路的设计/建造有问题,driver/owner一方可向相关责任方提出诉赔,（3）如果owner和
driver不是一个人,driver也可以因为车、轮胎的质量，车的维护不够等sue owner. 第

前几天出的车祸： 当时我在一条主路上开， 路的右前方有个小区， 一黑学生从小区
出来要左转上主路
结果他的左前侧撞到我的车的右前侧。 叫了警察， 警察来了之后记录信息时问我速度
， 我说了32
（警察要一个数字 而不是大概多少）， 因为我记得这条路是限速35。 结果问完之后
才发现前方不远
有个限速30的路牌， 但是再往前大概不到两百米又有一个限速35的路牌。 于是警察在
exchange
driver information sheet上记录了我的速度32, 对方速度写的是2。警察没有给我罚
单。两个车
都被拖走了。我当时并不确定速度是多少，但是速度绝对不高，因为刚刚下过暴雨，我
就想趁着那一会

Why do you care which court they will sue you?
Personal jurisdiction is very complicated question, I can't give you clear
cut answer. It depends the fact of the case and the particular state law.
But usually the state where this contract was signed will have personal
jurisdiction over you.
But that is not enough, plaintiff also has to satisfy the subject matter
jurisdiction and venue, only when all these three elements are satisfied. A
proper law suit can begin.

同样，楼主还说得好像没在美国跟航空公司打过交道似的。他们可以随时拒绝你登机，

怨，他们还有什么武器能维护自己的权利？
美国现在机场里的那些法规，说好听点是为了“安全反恐”, 说不好听点就是把旅客维

迫害镇压"。

of services and products it wants to provide to the general public is
solely its decision to make. The same as Buddhist cannot sue a restaurant
for not carrying vegi-only meal, or Christian cannot sue a Islam restaurant
for not carrying pork, or Muslim cannot sue a restantant for not carrying
goat meat with the "right" cut, etc. |
