Everyone expected Morgan Stanley to take a hit. But few expected the
troubled investment firm to announce more than $9 billion in write-downs for
its fourth quarter. On Wednesday, the company said it lost 3.6 billion, or
$3.61 a share, versus a profit of $2.0 billion, or $1.87 a share, a year
earlier. It also announced it was turning to China to help shore up its
balance sheet.

验室作2个月试验，发个摘要。得最高奖的那个，用mesothelin早期诊断胰腺癌，基本
没有实用价值。只要胰腺有点小问题的，像胰腺炎，囊肿等mesothelin有很多都会高。
如果推广，还把人吓死。
可能更多是奖励他的给一百多个实验室拒绝后还不罢休的精神。

Taiwan's aim was aspirational, rather than a reality. After all,
