本人不反对同性恋，本来吗，你喜欢跟谁睡觉那是你自己的事情，谁也管不着，觉得恶
心的人那是他们自己的问题，西方人觉得中国人吃鸡爪子也恶心的，谁在乎。
但近些年同性恋运动搞得过火，日益政治化，像刺猬一样不能碰，实在令人反感。6月
末各个城市又开始轰轰烈烈的gay pride大游行，说实话，你是Gay那是你自己家里的事
，有必要裸露身体或者穿着奇装异服到大家上游行吗？那是公共场所，可能有很多小孩
经过，就这么乱裸露给人看有必要吗？这算哪门子的“pride"?有人说你不喜欢那别看
好了。这就好比大多数地方都有法律规定你不能一丝不挂在路上走，虽然没伤害谁，但
你引起大多数人反感那就是你的错。我觉得每年的gay parade其实是同性恋者最愚蠢的
地方，一方面他们要试图说同性恋是天生的，我们跟你们异性恋也没什么不同，一边又

我发现好多人喜欢搞悲情主义，把自己说得惨兮兮的。

爱不关心就不关心呗，谁care了？不少同志自己都不关心呢。
有这样给人泼脏水的吗？说的异性恋多悲情似的，被强迫着关心。

真搞笑，世上的straight bar还少吗？世上的straight channel还少吗？
我家除了logo是gay channel以外，其它几百个频道全是straight channel，
我们什么时候又抗议过straight bar了？我们还没抗议，直人就觉得被抗议了，

这事出有因是因为一道破题涉及到平行公理。于是俺就强调了一下平行公理是欧几里德
平面几何的核心，让娃上网查 Euclid's fifth postulate 后解释给俺听。
然后娃开始罗罗嗦嗦开始叙述 parallel 然后 angle 啥的。。。
俺一听 angle 就急了，说特么欧几里德又不是文科生说话那么罗嗦，你说的这个是
theorem of angles and parallel lines。。。平行公理就是“过直线外一点有且仅有
一条平行线”，你说的这些都可以从 postulate 开始证明。。。如果追求概念图景但
追求特别严格的扣牛角尖的话，这么整。。。
首先用平行公理证明四个直角的矩形存在。。。娃目瞪口呆说这也要证明，我说废话
你们数学老师画了三个直角咋知道第四个一定是直角，然后我拿出一个排球说，看看排
球上的球面上矩形好了。。。
遂左膀往“角度”一路奔过去，可以证明娃你刚才说的 theorem of angles and
parallel lines。。。继续往下还可以证明三角形内角和是 180 度。。。娃又目瞪口

首先，无法考证你的数据的可信度. 假设它们是正确的。
其次，你提到了只有4个样本，并不能代表International School的整体水平。
第三，每个学校好像都有一堆没有straight A的学生最后去的大学比straight A的学生
好。毕竟，在美国，不是只看straight A的。International School的别的这么多
straight A或者没有straight A的学生如何呢？
更重要的是，sorry, 又忍不住要唠叨“势”了 :)
为什么International School必须要抽签中了才能上呢？
很简单，太多人想去这个school了, 不抽签上学校就给挤爆了.
“势”摆在那里的，毕竟这么多年的华州Top 1, Top 2了。
一个简单的想法实验。
如果International School今天宣布，不再抽签了，Bellevue High, Newport High,
Skyline High, Issaquah High, Redmond High的Top 20学生都可以录取。大家觉得这
些Top 20学生会不会走掉至少5到10个？

seem to rehash the same basic stuff every few years). A lot of them talk
about how to draft, or tell you to look up every few strokes to stay on
course, but very few seem to deal with the subject in much detail.

在过去两年的自由泳学习过程中，我听到的建议都是头要低，收下巴，眼睛看正下方，
“swim downhill”，头低了，腿就浮起来了，减少阻力。
直到上周跟高阳游泳时，他给我指出我的头太低了，造成头一上（换气）一下，反而增
大了阻力。建议我头可以高一些，水面刚好高过眉毛就行了，这样游开水时也更容易换
气。我说那腿会不会沉得更厉害？他说等你打水练出来了下身自然就浮起来了。
于是我试了试把头抬高些，看pool的斜前方，好像的确游得更流畅些。
回来上网搜索相关资料，找到这篇Swim Smooth的文章是支持他的观点的。
