11/12 Durrrr 已经到了 Las Vegas 准备录新的一季 High Stake Poker, 但还是忍不
住向 Isildur1 挑战, 结果又输了 85 万
一共短短 4 天工夫, Durrr 整整输给这个瑞典 high stake 新手 340 万美元. 我的妈
妈. 估计 Durrr 在 full tilt 的钱已经输光了, 他需要重新打钱进去.

poorly at medium stake MTT. I tried one at micro stake; it paid out.
At the same day/time, I tried one medium stake MTT (24+2 buy-in for $
guarantee) and I DID NOT EVEN WON A SINGLE HAND. The starting chips is 3,000
and BB goes up in every 10 minutes. I was there for TWO HOURS and so I saw
many many hands. Seriously no single hand won!?

forward
我个人的一个小猜测，他会不会put你on 78sc，看到river 9， check river，指望你
觉得他flop/turn都在block，然后对他value bet river， 代价小点
“One reason i have been thinking why NL 100 has larger swing than lower
stake is because people push harder with small edges. They feel they are
ahead, they will push you all in, while at lower stake, people still have
tendency to slow play monsters. 结果很多可以清别人都清不掉.. swing, 当然小了

发帖数: 7793 | 10 live 还是很容易挣钱的, any on-line player who are consistent winner (3bb+/100 hand) NL25 or lower should be able to make more $$ at live 1$/2$ table than on-line. NL50 (have to play more than 8 tables probably) and NL100 are where the on-line player can match or surpass live low stake hourly winnings rate, but the skill requirement is a lot more ("a lot more" is probably still an understatement) at these stakes on-line than live low stake poker.

against "think too much" in small/micro stake poker. And that is this hand
trying to tell us.
I remember couple month ago I watched another training video, it talked
about 13 most scary leaks in small stake, one of them was "try to use level
5 thinking on level 3 playing field" (can't remember exact word, but sth

wsop , you will find out how popular it is now. During 2008 Wsop, I played a
lots of 5/10 NL in Rio , by then , on middle-high stakes game, it is like
half NLHE, half other games(PLO,mixed etc). But during WSOP 2010, there is
only 4-5 tables for NLHE over 10-25 limit, all other tables are PLO and

But high stakes pro finances is very complicated. It's hard to keep track
who is being staked. Who is profit chopping. Who has loss-back deals with
each other (jokingly called under buttons). The only thing I know is a
significant number of high stakes poker pros, especially old school ones,
are tight on money. Either cash broke, on stake, huge in debt, or something
like that. |

始打，我还不如不打。这跟哥打得 stake 也有关系。live 最高也就打 2/5， online
最高也就 1/2。FTP 还有 rush 那会儿还打过一个 10 分钟session 3/6。那才叫
scared money。运气好一个 pot 赚了 400 赶紧就 hit and run。
我有一个准则就是绝对不会碰我输不起的 stake。 我第一年当 fish 的时候，也就是
半年 live 输个 2000， online 输个 2000。WSN 当然肉痛，但还不至于伤筋动骨什么
的。
有些人很敢拼，刚开始打牌，一有赢钱就升 stake，一下蹭蹭就上去了，我们这里最有
名的应该就是三十而立吧。还有很多其他的 poker kids。有些就成功了，一下子成了
high stake winner，更多人 go broke。其实这也没什么，最多就是把赢来的钱再输回
去。最要不得的是动用家里的储蓄。

higher stake.
Looks like some myth need to be break up. If I lose money in lower stake, on
tilt, then I say to myself What the heck, I just play higher stake and
trying to get my money back. That, to be honest, to me is typical gambler
behavior. It never worked for me. I will never play a stake which I am
comfortable even I lose money.
But it obviously worked for NV Jiang. Looks like good players always have a
gambler inside. |

I have heard this from a lot of training videos, and it has been proved by
my own experience. It's like limp reraise in live poker.
About the 4bet sizing, I think playing deep is a big concern here. Even we
are in position I still like a much larger size, because position is not
that important in a 4 bet pot.

是昨天我不小心看到了一篇新闻文章，才惊讶的发现其实最早做出来的，有可能是
Wayne State University的潘卓华。虽然他的投稿时间和Deisseroth的类似，但是因为
他是一个没有什么名气的学者，而且他的文章包装得不对，所以他的文章被百般耽误，
最后比Deisseroth的晚了一年才发表。
在2004年底潘就做出了和Deisseroth几乎一样的文章，除了用的细胞略微不同：他做的
神经细胞是从视网膜分离的，而Deisseroth 做的神经细胞是从大脑分离的。然后他把
文章陆续投向Nature, Nature Neuroscience,Journal of Neuroscience，却统统遭到
了拒稿。然后大半年之后，也就是2005年8月份，Deisseroth 的文章发表在Nature
Neuroscience上。潘得知之后，心都凉了。

Given loan is cheap right now and easy according to you, they have to
justify why they are seeking a stake taker.
Thinking about real world, those who are willing to give stake usually
