lake tahoe一般滑雪场不让那种小孩可以趴在上面的滑板，或者小孩坐里面的sled在
那里玩，想知道一般大家都是在哪里让小孩玩。
我们住reno，所以要是离reno近一点或者湖北面近一点的地方比较好。如果免费那就更
好，我们可以自己带sled或者租sled。 |

and didn't realize that was the heel piece of my binding until I tried to
put my skies back.
I managed to hike down to the groomed run and a patrol offered a sled ride
before I tried to ski down on one ski. It was an exciting ride and I was
happy that my 1st sled ride wasn't caused by injure.
Back at home, I found two bolts of the heel piece were broken and the bar of
heel piece also had some cracking.

（还别说，一下雪办公室里安静多了，那三天恐怕是今年效率最高的三天之一乐）。周
末忙着准备行李，买东西，也没空。周一拜处美航空咳嗽航班之赐，一大早起床在外面
白白晃悠了半天，回到家里宅了半天重新定机票，咳嗽旅馆，改租车啥的。今天度假第
二天可不能宅了！
言归正传，却说经过群众要求领导批准，RP爆发，跟踪两天的顶好杂货店终于有雪锹和
小雪橇终于到货了，说不得，等他们一开门俺就杀将过去，淘到小雪橇两枚，雪锹一柄
。收拾停当已经是九点多钟。出发先到North Bend的一个Shell加油站买了Sno-Park
Day Pass,继续往Hayk去。I-90上一路顺畅。其间迷路一次，到那个Sledding Hill的时
候已经快十一点了。
说不得开始干正经的。老大打出生以来还没怎么见过雪，兴奋得一塌糊涂。拿了小雪橇
就往地上一扔，奋不顾身地扑上去不表。到了山坡上，我老先试了两把（Glissading的
经验有一些，可是小雪橇这劳什子没用过），确信安全了，带上老大一起上。老大坐前
面，我老坐后面掌舵。开始技术不熟练，总是歪 |

一的诊所已经run out of抗生素了。危急关头，为了将1.1 M单位的抗生素及时送到Nome
，Alaska当时的Govenor采纳了用mushers和sled dogs组成的relay。于是20个mushers和
大约150只sled dogs以他们极大的勇气和技能在5天半的时间内纵横674miles，完成了这
项mission impossible，要知道1，2月份的Alaska可是暴风雪肆虐的地狱啊！整个relay
中好几只狗狗被冻死，若干个mushers被冻伤，因为当时Alaska大陆的室外气温都在－60F
附近！
我之所以写这个，是因为某天下午看电视时，无意中看到了有关这一“Great Run
of Mercy”的历史回顾，非常震撼！尤其是对Gunnar Kaasen和他的Balto的描述更是惊
心动魄，Balto据说是一条新的领路狗，意思就是说它从来没有跑过！但是这并不意味着

,手套等装备齐全。先谢谢yayajj 提供的信息，在booking.com上定hotel很方便，不过
呢我这贪图便宜的小女人心里作怪$59定了个叫days inn的hotel俱差无比，到了那里就
开始被老公抱怨了：这是平生以来我住过的最差的hotel, 在家都算是5星级hotel, 到
外面来才住2星级，你带着一家人出来逃难来了呀？。。。。。
这个hotel还真是很不干净，浴巾上还有黄色印记。。。。。
在booking.com查时看了后几天的要$100左右,给了我错觉以为这是一家$100档次的
hotel, 以为自己赶了个deal, 而且我定的时候only one room left, 就更加深了这种
错觉，去了才知道至少还有一半的房间空着，它也会说only one room left, 哈哈！！！
住的不好，但是孩子玩得很开心。
第一天去了indian canyon trail. 小孩子在树林里捉迷藏，爬石头，有小溪流水，娃
往水里扔石头。

发帖数: 5103 | 26 是这样的，这里冬天 2500 尺以上的山区多半会有积雪，3000 尺以上肯定有雪，你只
要看看你要去的地方的海拔高度，心里就有个谱了。
俩礼拜前去 Mt. Rainier，规定两驱车必须上雪链，四驱车必须备着。路上有冰，我踩
刹车重了点发生甩尾，最后还是装上了。不止我，有些 pick-up 也装上了。
Mt. Rainier 的 WA-410 公路已封，游客只能去 Paradise。你有老有小，去 Paradise
只能看看雪山风景，让孩子在旁边的 play area 玩雪。带个 sled 去，虽然公园说因
为今年雪太少，play area 不开放，但其实还是有人在那里玩 sledding。去时路上会
经过一个瀑布 Narada Falls，我看到路边停了些车子，但没下去。
这季节这些国家公园都差不多：部份开放，然后还要雪链。你们不能滑雪或
snowshoeing，只能看风景玩雪。既然如此，玩雪的地方附近也有，不需跑远。这附近

发帖数: 401 | 27 元旦一大早起来，下楼吃早餐。JP跑过来说，今天很冷啊，零下34度。我忙问，这是摄
氏还是华氏？JP嘿嘿一笑，说这个温度啊，差不多是华氏摄氏相交的地方，所以华氏摄
氏都一样。我一查，果然，－34F差不多是－37C，心想完了，这么冷的天，怎么去坐
dog sledding啊？而且冰天雪地里坐两个钟头，还不得出人命。可是dog sledding比
snowmobiling的机会还要难得，于是很悲壮的更新了facebook的status，武装到牙齿的
出发了。
Dog sledding在魁北克城外20分钟车距的地方，在一片住宅区的背后。要不是JP帮我们
联系了司机送我们过去，还真是很难找。感觉峰回路转，突然眼前一开阔，出现一大片
林子，并传来一阵阵狂吠声。司机带我们到一个小木屋前，手续备齐后，告诉我们先可
以到屋后去看狗。穿过木屋来到院子里，到处都是Husky，有西伯利亚Husky，也有阿拉
斯家Husky。最靠门的一个叫Mac，非常的友好，看见我们就使劲摇头晃尾的往我们身前
凑，任凭我们抚摸。

果在Fairbanks停留至少三晚，那看到极光的概率是至少90%”。但是听到更多的是9月
和3月最好，3月人多是因为可以看冰雕，狗拉雪橇比赛，滑雪比赛。至于时间，个人建
议11点多出发，2点前回来就可以了，看了4天都是大概11；30或者12点开始，1点多衰
弱，当然也许跟特定的那几天有关。
行前Tips以及唠叨:
(1) 极光预测: http://www.gi.alaska.edu/AuroraForecast,个人感觉只能做个参考,我的DAY1-4都是2级,但中间2天效果很好,一头一尾不行。有个阿拉斯加大学出的APP,大概40分钟-1小时更新一次报告,可以做个参考,当然人已经到了FAIRBANKS,怎样都要晚上出去看看.

你到了 Iron Horse Sno Park （就是先前给的那坐标处）后只要跟着大家走，就会找
到适合玩 sled 或 snowshoeing 的地方。对，自己带器材。
刚又想到，Summit at Snoqualmie 有个让小孩玩 tubing 的地方，我没去过，但常看
到。Google 地图上可以找到，你去搜一个叫做 Summit Tubing Center 的地方，要钱
的。除了滑雪与 tubing，滑雪场不让人自己带 sled 进去玩（不然人家赚什么钱？） |

，这个牌子还有样子特专业的，我估摸着你那个不打折要20刀，实在冷懒得出去了所以
就diy了。然后一搜发现很多sled的idea，然后还有人说用纸箱子也能做，但是我觉得
cut纸板再用胶带太麻烦了。
我就用个澡盆，改锥烧热，一钻出个洞，钻两个，然后加根绳子就可以拖娃了。如果要
细致一下，两侧可以再钻孔加把手。和你的技术含量差不多，就是多两孔。 |

新年第一天是在魁北克城度过的。早上下楼吃早饭，就听旅馆的大堂经理说，今早很冷
，零下34度，我忙问是摄氏
还是华氏，他笑笑，这个温度华氏和摄氏都一样。我一查，果然，－34F差不多是－37C
度，心想完了，今天是要
去坐dog sledding的，这么冷的天，还不得出人命。可是dog sledding比snowmobiling
的机会还要难得，于是很
悲壮的更新了facebook的status，武装到牙齿的出发了。
废话少说，以后反正会写游记，先上片吧。

come to PNW for one or two weeks in summer to climb some glaciated peaks.
How to rig a sled and travelling with 100lbs sled on glacier and steep terri
an is challenging though.
You need serious physical training, which you can do anywhere.
You need winter surviving skill training, which you can do in SoCal as well.
