光是size 3 和 size 5 体重就已经可以接上了，还要size 4 吗？

假定：
A ＝ living area size
B ＝ garage size
C ＝ Covered patio size
D ＝ covered porch size
（1）listing information的home size是：A+B，我自己买的时候也是根据这个大小给
的offer。
（2）但是lender说home size 只是指 A 。那我的offer岂不是亏大了？
（3）但是appraiser做市场分析计算per sqft price的时候（就是跟相邻地段的房子比
较），用的size却是A+B+C+D.
到底在county record和 listing for sale 里面，应该是用哪个size？自己以后要卖
房子的时候应该用哪个size?
如果现在买的时候用的是A＋B，到时候卖的时候只用A，那岂不是亏大了？

的用truseq kit建rna seq库，一般是没有必要size selection的，镁离子化学断裂非
常的好。chipseq ip的大小一般会比input大一点，如果是sonication shear的不好的
话，ip下来的片段就可能会大很多，但是mnase digestion好的话的基本pattern不会变
，也就是如果超声shear的好的话确实不需要选择，因为大片段本来就不多。测序时到
flow cell 上cluster的时候也就都丢了，无所谓。

或者需要行李箱大一点，full size sedan还是很舒服的，而且价格不比midesize高多
少，安全性也上一个台阶。这里就比较两款基本款2016比较典型的车，走的是两个不同
的思路。具体细节自己去试，每个人感受都不一样，这里只比较数据。
1.Trunk Volume (ft3)。
full size sedan最不同于midsize的地方莫过于后备箱，放stroller特别有用。

最近比较focus on money management，尤其是position sizing。
这里绝大部分都是跟我一样的beginner，基本上很看重入点，什么时候买最好。我转到

for both platform (Unix and WinXP). Both give the same sizes, i.e., for char,
the size is 1, for int, the size is 4, for double, the size is 8. This
produces
100 for the total size in my case (7 * 4 * 1 + 2 * 4 + 8 * 8 = 100).
In Unix, I get this size. In WinXP, I get 104. I am really confused by
the extra 4 bytes. |

sporty一点的几个full size sedan轮流租了一遍。
一般租车公司的车，开起来sporty一点的都是compact，包括mazda 3，focus一类。
full size操控差点，但是出去玩比较实用。好点的full size有dodge charger， ford
fusion和VW passat。nissan altima也还凑合。
内饰就不说了，各有所好。个人感觉ford fusion比较高级一点，全电动座椅很好用，
就是椅子有点硬，不是很舒服。
操控开山路比较了一下，用fusion跑了大雾山的tail of dragon，passat跑了muir
woods附近的一号公路，altima跑了斯坦福后面到skyline的84号山路。
fusion的转向和悬挂很赞，是所开过所有full size里最好的。过弯非常平稳，很难感
到body roll，tail of dragon 20迈的连续弯道跑起来很轻松。影象特别深刻的是方向

体的range是［0，1], 希望＋／－0.005的误差。总体样本现有820000, 假设满足normal distribution, 95％ confidence

如果我想设计一个实验，比较两组的survival rate,不给药的那一组（A)假设预计
survival rate是0.4，给药的那一组（B)希望达到survival rate 0.6,而且A和B是
paired sample,即每一个在B组吃药的病人，在A组都是有个相同性别，相近体重，相近
血压的不吃药的病人。那我需要如何计算sample size，以达到power=0.8呢？求高人指
点，非常感谢!
补充：
假设每组的病人不是一一对应的，那么假设我有一个希
望达到的hazard ratio (HR),那么如果有alpha=0.05， power=0.8, 和预期的log(HR),
通过公式可以计算出来需要的sample size.
我想知道的是，如果每组病人之间有个一一对应的关系，那么该如何修改计算sample
size的公式，我看到一个说法是原sample size乘以（1-rho),但是这样sample size比
之前传统方法的更小，我觉得好像不合理，因为相对于传统方法，这种paired design

minivan差太多了。我不是外型控和image控，就纯粹谈谈功能。
1. full-size suv和minivan最强的功能装人，打平；
2. full-size suv能托能抗，后面拉个8,000 lbs的trailer是小意思。minivan这么干
要么细胳膊细腿早折了，要么变速箱先瘫了；
3. full-size suv一般都有4wd/awd选项，在通过性和越野方面完胜。minivan的越野能
力不比假美丽强；
4. 安全性full-size suv完胜。awd在操控上是个优势，minivan几乎没有awd的选项。
多车事故中，suv也完胜minivan。suv因为车身高，唯一可能带来的安全劣势是在过弯
时由于速度太快而翻车。但是只要仔细想想，过弯翻车属于纯粹找死，而多车事故中被

发帖数: 1013 | 48 大胆猜想一下那些纠结minivan 还是full size SUV的人们， 最终应该都入了full
size SUV。
最近考虑入个minivan，于是乎注意到了论坛上的各种关于full size SUV还是minivan
的讨论。觉得两种定位完全不同的车型，放到一起相提并论，完全没有理由啊。
价钱上天壤之别，性能上也各有所长，更何况外观更是风马牛不相及。所以，我感觉，
凡是考虑二者入其一的，大都是：
有足够的钱，负担得起full size SUV的
注重外观，又想兼顾实用
认为安全是第一位的，哪怕safety rate只是9.5和9.7 区别
所以这些人思来想去，最终一般都会一咬牙，入了SUV。
像我这样的实用主义者 （穷B）, 膜拜完escalade, Yukon Denali后，默默地打开了
minivan的网页。 但说实话，真心觉得full size SUV的存在比较鸡肋。 |

只在12月23日后才能搬走。床垫于今年1月底购买于costco，床架是3月（记不太清楚究
竟哪个月，总之很新）购买于IKEA，还付了99刀的运费的。－－－－－购买床垫，将免
费送$49.90床头柜及$39.90+落地灯，还有床单也可以送给你，便于你在运输过程中盖
住床垫。（可以在图片中看到）,所以东西加在一起原价大概$1000左右。－－－－－－
－－－－ 床架几乎没有瑕疵。床垫有些水迹，被孩子的水壶倒过水。床垫是memory
foam的，个人觉得超级舒服，软硬适中，偏硬一些。
2）twin size bed frame: $35－－－－ twin size mattress: $35, 再加twin size
床垫，免费，但是要求两张床垫一起搬走。－－－三样一起走60刀。灰色床垫有奶迹，
有一次女儿不小心把奶瓶弄倒了，擦过，但是可以看出痕迹。介意的可以只买床架。床
架三周都有围栏，比较适合小孩。白色床垫sealy，基本无瑕疵。
